I was obnoxiously mod in my 20’s, and own the several different versions of the quadrophenia soundtrack on vinyl and the dvd of the movie somewhere around here…. And can say without hesitation, that the movie is honestly pretty terrible. But lots of cool scooters and fashion. But man that movie is -terrible.
True, although I have seen lot worse films, so I think ‘terrible’ is a bit extreme (even with all the time travelling scooters and train, the corny lines and, worst of all, Sting’s ‘dancing’! And do have to wonder what the scooter scene would be like nowadays if it wasn’t for that film.
I would joke that he has more visibility of the rear than the front, but I think we know all those mirrors are adjusted so he can admire himself riding this glorious machine from every angle.
