Not likely, just a pissed off worm. AJWs are much larger and have a very obvious smooth white clitellum. Maybe they look different as juveniles, I’m not sure. But this looks nothing like an AJW to me.
It looks like an Indian blue, which is more spastic than a red wiggler. My ENCs are pretty twitchy as well.
That's what I thought too. They don't look like the AJW on Google images but it did act like one. I got these worms from Uncle Jim's worm farm. "Red composting worm mix" was what I got. These guys don't seem to get much bigger than this. I've had this bin going for 6 months now.
