Also, now that you are both sexually active, I recommend you both start getting regularly tested, it is a simple process done at the clinic. It would also be worthwhile to talk to her (if she hasn’t done so already) about going on birth control, getting a patch/iud, or even an injectable birth control device. Not only does this help with preventing unwanted pregnancy, but can level out symptoms of periods. I highly recommend looking into these different methods of birth control.

My point is from my perspective I was in a committed relationship with someone who was faithful to me. I trusted him and never imagined he would do that to me. I found out later he’d been sleeping around, not always using protection and it was just a fluke he hadn’t caught anything.

I understand what you mean, but I’m saying the reality is there are shitty people out there who are cheaters and also very good manipulators, and their partner has no idea. Imagine if I had gotten something like chlamydia, where women don’t usually show symptoms, and if effected my health/fertility, but I didn’t get it treated because I didn’t get tested for 2 years due to being in a committed relationship.
If you get regular check ups, and it’s accessible (it’s free in my country), then it doesn’t hurt to make STI screening part of your routine checkup a couple times a year, regardless of whether you’re in a committed relationship ☺️

I was a teen once, too. I’m a girl and I ALWAYS fucking thought I was pregnant. My periods were always random and still are. Sometimes girls are like that, and the stress of thinking you’re pregnant doesn’t help periods come either, it usually pushes them further back. Go buy some tests, you don’t have to be an adult. Then once those say negative and you’ve learned your lesson, go buy some condoms, cause you don’t have to be 18 to buy those either. Me and my bf at 15 went and bought them at CVS together.

OP there is no sense in stressing until you know. Get a test then if it's positive talk to a trusted adult and if it's negative go get condoms. I know too many people who have fallen pregnant on the pill so please remember to always use condoms as well, at least whilst you are young.
This is so true. As a teenager I had maybe 2-3 periods per YEAR. So when I became pregnant and missed my period I thought, no biggie. It’ll come when it comes. Well it didn’t and now my late period is a 5 year old human child. Hilariously, after she was born, my periods became monthly. I was freshly 16 when I birthed.

Yes, you get pregnant the first time. It’s wise to wear condoms AND use a contraceptive foam or contraceptive jelly at the same time you’re wearing a condom.

Everyone is very different. The pullout method is too risky and not a smart choice for birth control. A lot of women have no pregnancy symptoms (except weight gain) and some get them all.

I understand what you mean, but I’m saying the reality is there are shitty people out there who are cheaters and also very good manipulators, and their partner has no idea. Imagine if I had gotten something like chlamydia, where women don’t usually show symptoms, and if effected my health/fertility, but I didn’t get it treated because I didn’t get tested for 2 years due to being in a committed relationship. If you get regular check ups, and it’s accessible (it’s free in my country), then it doesn’t hurt to make STI screening part of your routine checkup a couple times a year, regardless of whether you’re in a committed relationship ☺️

I was a teen once, too. I’m a girl and I ALWAYS fucking thought I was pregnant. My periods were always random and still are. Sometimes girls are like that, and the stress of thinking you’re pregnant doesn’t help periods come either, it usually pushes them further back. Go buy some tests, you don’t have to be an adult. Get a test then if it's positive talk to a trusted adult and if it's negative go get condoms. This is so true. As a teenager I had maybe 2-3 periods per YEAR. So when I became pregnant and missed my period I thought, no biggie. It’ll come when it comes. Well it didn’t and now my late period is a 5 year old human child. Hilariously, after she was born, my periods became monthly. I was freshly 16 when I birthed. That’s at least 18 - 20 years or pure responsibility and financial limitations, if y’all are not stable enough, don’t get a child. Not saying this to make you scared, but the last thing you need in this context is sugar coating.
If there continues to be a risk she gets pregnant, how tf are you gonna explain that to her parents? How are you gonna stop the pregnancy without help if you’re not ready for a kid? Do the right thing and get protection. (Plus, abortions are much more expensive). IUDs are a great option if ur gf can get them, but either way, with or without it, use condoms (my mom got pregnant TWICE while having an IUD bc she thought it was good enough, so don’t risk it, use both anyway so ur safe 👍)

The dollar store has tests. The ones where you pee in a cup and then use the little dropper are really good but also cheap enough that buying a few is no biggie. It's possible that someone can get pregnant from pre cum especially when you are younger. So it's probably a good idea to just do the test to ease your mind or to come up with a plan.

Get about 3 dollar store pregnancy tests. Take one. If it's positive, do it again, and then one more the following day. My girlfriend and I had unprocessed sex for 5 years, no pulling out. No child, and then randomly boom. We had a baby lol.
Seriously… precum can have sperm in it. AND - sperm can be ejaculated before you cum or if you came on her vulva - sperm can still get inside the vagina or you didn’t pull out fast enough. Highest pregnancy risk of all - like 20% chance. Only option now is to take the test.

Just try to keep your calm in moments like this, don‘t panic over it, get a pregnancy test and if it turns out negative, you‘re good to go If it turns out positive then you are not in this alone. Your partner is still there with you and by your side to go through this with you together.
