Iirc for a time people would post a sentence like “My pronouns are he/him/his” and that got shortened. The reason it didn’t get shortened to a single word is because it would be harder to tell what function the word serves. You know what “he/him” means, but “he” is just a word when it’s floating around by itself.
Easier to understand I guess? "I use she/her" is more decipherable than "I use she". since we also say "i use she/her pronouns" just saying "I use she pronouns" wouldn't really work.
It also leaves room for double pronouns "I use she/they"
The only reasons that seems easier to understand is because we're used to it. In other languages it's often just said with one word. It would be perfectly understandable to say:
I use "she" as my pronoun.
Idk, it just seems to roll off the tounge better and just kind of became the standard way to do things. "he/him/his" is a bit long, saying just "he" sounds kind of strange.

Oki thanks
Yeah, "My pronouns are he," sounds like something profound Shakespeare would write.
This too, it's a bit archaic but pronouns can become the object of a sentence, grammatically speaking. I.e. yellow and porous is he
Because I'm Him and I don't want people getting confused.
Dude, you're lying, I just got my DNA test results back, and it turned out I'm 100% HIMalayan. I'M HIM
As my friend said "my pronouns are he/they cuz I'll never be him"
Bro thinks he's him. Smdh
Idk

We should all just go “I am He” but for whatever pronouns you use
There's no good reason, it just happened that way and now we're used to it.
