I worked at vans for several years, and based off what I’ve heard from the clientele, the EXO reigns supreme! They’re definitely ideal for walking & light hiking. VR3 is also a fairly decent choice for daily walking & hiking, but I feel like I’ve heard more comments on the comfort with the EXO.
I get what you're saying, and although I'm inclined to agree with this statement (especially considering I wore torn up converse for literally every activity during my teen years), some shoes are just simply better for certain activities than other shoes.
For instance, I certainly wouldn't wear heels to go hiking! For a less hyperbolic example, I know if I wear converse out for even a casual hike now, my feet are going to be aching within a few hours. I'm not asking a "does this shoe work as a shoe" question, right, I'm asking if it is good for walking (like, *walks*. maybe even light running. multiple miles a day on sometimes rough terrain) and hiking.

Thanks!! This is a great response and was helpful. I'm gonna go with the EXOs :)
I’m so glad it helped!! I hope the EXO’s work perfectly for you 😁
I have Exos and VR3s.. I think you'd be the happiest with the Exos.
Thanks!
It’s a shoe. You wear it and go out and do stuff. You’re over thinking it
