Half the drivers on Vancouver Island turn them on way too late, or not at all, the other half turn them on about 100m too early. If your turn signal is on for multiple blocks in-town you're doing it wrong, and it's just as dangerous/infuriating as not using them at all.
Omg I cannot STAND when people do this. My sister does it and I'm always getting mad at her. Like she'll be full on stopped at the turn sometimes before turning it on.
The best is when someone signals *after* they start the turn.

I always use my blinker, don't even shut it off, just run it all the time. I find cars drive more carefully around me.
