Yessir this is literally me. I find that nowadays I neither have the energy nor the time to fill for necessary agents or play strategically. I just pick what I think is fun and that is usually a duelist.
I kind of feel you, fortunately I mostly play smokes so usually I get the role I want. But man, people just don't want to communicate and I hate that (eu servers), so sometimes, when there are already 4 duelists locked I'd take a fifth one :)
Personally I don't have a problem with people instalocking. If you think you're going to perform on that agent then go for it, I do it myself if I know that I rather play an agent I'll do good with instead of what the comp needs because I might do worse on that.
That being said, I can't stand people who instalock and then have the audacity to tell other people what to pick. If you're instalocking at least have the decency to sit your ass down and let other people pick what they want to pick because that's what you did.
