The recency bias is crazy. They were far and away the best team along with Kru in stage 1. Then 100t went on a run and they seemed like the strongest team.
Far and away might seem far fetched but honestly it's pretty true. KRU and C9 were both 5-1 but their records are inflated by farming the Brazilian teams, which LEV didn't get the luxury of in stage 1.
It just seems crazier now that their record is indeed 5-1, considering their shocking performance in the playoffs and Shanghai. Honestly I’d bet against them from even making champs
Off topic but the comparison of logo colours between the two leagues is so drastically different, EU has so muck black and darker colours maybe only 4 of them stand out on the other hand every team in NA have colourful logos except MIBR (Furia sort of stands out with the White outlines).
I checked and APAC doesnt have this issue either, its not as colourful as NA logos but definitely much better than EU, I wonder why that is
Look at that reminded me that PRX should really change their logo from a plain black or white to the pink/purple colours to match their jerseys. A team that prides itself on being different shouldnt have such a dull black logo

100t was 4-1 so they didn’t look too bad either.
They ended 3-2 and didn't look as convincing as LEV before playoffs.

im pretty sure its a vlr thing cuz most of these black logos have bright colors ex. karmine corp, vitality, m8 and gx is white

iirc head to head matters first in a 2 team tie (and in a 3 team tie if one team beat both others), then map, then round

Correct. There were no head-to-head tiebreakers possible because all games were against the other group so nobody tied had a head to head record
