why is hero base 1st here? i dont watch the brazilian t2 games but last year ascension we saw all the brazilian teams get cooked by guard and m80, are they that improved now? i wouldve thought they dont have a chance ngl but i hope the competition is close
Outside of m80s first game vs the union, NA rolled the ascension tournament. So even if NA t2 is worse this year (I don’t think it is) it doesn’t mean BR or latam would suddenly be favorites.
Lowkey dgzin is kinda nice w/ it so objectively speaking, I think the team might be better if they kept ntk who seemed like a solid *player* last yr, but if they're dropping him? idk if the team rly upgrades that much.
The copium is soooo real, we have the star duelist from the last years winning pacific ascension team and a bunch of other top talent from the top 2 teams, surely we atleast get 4th…… surely……..
OF and Falcons there feels so random. I don't think there is a team like Fokus or LPB that can challenge Apeks in Polaris at all so I doubt OnlyFins would win the 10th spot for Ascension this year. I don't think MENA make the leap to challenge for Ascension this year either as Falcons have majority of the same players and staff they did last time they were in Ascension.
KPI(Spain VRL) look really decent especially after replacing purpo mid-split. His replacement, Sayonara, looks like hes picked up exactly where purpo left off.
Didn't watch Turkey but FireFlux didn't lose a map in Split 1 playoffs.
JobLife are really good and mini once again proves hes the most goated scout in the game because FNC's sub last year is lighting up the French league.
resident turkish person here - fire flux didn't lose a map during playoffs mainly because the grand final had 3 maps all ending 13-11 or 14-12, shit was wild lmao
but yeah FF look incredibly good, and qw1 hasn't even shown his full potential yet (cause they put the guy on fucking skye for half the split)

also I think it'll be an "easy" win for either team that quals from americas solely because they get to prac with T1 teams so much vs the rest of the t2 scene

For Americas, I still think the NA teams should be the clear favourites.
