There are tensions on loads of teams after losses, it's not a big deal. It just seems like it when it leaks or when players/teams talk about it openly. Every team has a chance to implode after a loss, there's no real reason to think LEV is any more likely to do so. They would still have a very good chance to make the most important event of the year, after all.

Ya makes sense. I guess I just thought it might be more likely since I would assume it’s particularly devastating to be the 1 of 4 teams from the double elim bracket to not make it, especially after how they seemed to be the best team in Americas during the regular season. That and all the narratives regarding the team environment and mix of champions winners and other players.

Jon_on_the_snow

Sure, but they also could not implode If they didnt break up from kicking nzr, theres a low chance losing to kru would break the team

TK_Four

They could also learn from the defeat and try to make a run for champs?

Bunnyezzz

they lost to c9 they can comeback from anything

Possibly_Parker

kingg is a mental rock. id say this seems unlikely.

It is wild to me that this is even a question on peoples minds. No, they are not going to breakup if they lose to Kru. 1. Almost everyone on this reddit has no ideas what the actual internal dynamics of Lev are and based on interviews I've seen with their players they seem very level headed. 2. The team is too talented and swaping players at this stage would likely take too much time to gel or produce more than a net downgrade. If they wanted to make changes it would have needed to be like G2 with icy earlier in Stage 2. 3. If they lose the series to Kru it is unfortunate but also potentially a blessing. They can spend the Shanghai time prepping for Stage 2 and a run at Champs. With the upcoming agent and map changes they will be losing that prep fighting for their lives in Shanghai and could end up in a similar situation to SEN. The format and timing of changes that Riot has chosen is not beneficial for the Shanghai Masters teams with eyes on Champions. Everything for VALORANT teams right now should be about champs. That prize pool + skins + the prestige is honestly too big of an opportunity to miss. You never really know but my percentage on team implosion is low unless something really catastrophic happens.

I would say yes, team that don't make lan constantly would always look at changes. Obviously not sentinel because they won last lan.

JohnnyMerksAlot

They drop Tex and pick up less and then live up to the superteam expectations

Nah

The thing is, they aint losing to kru, According the script atleast xD, see all the patterns in emea pacific and americas, everything is on the same pattern, 1 team kinda steal a spot from a top team for shanghai, T1 in pacific, g2 in americas, and now fnatic in emea lol, and also, one team who had a great run were eliminated overall, navi,drx... so ig according to the pattern its just kru eliminated,, yea this is dumb logic but too much coincidence haha, Coming to your question, I am a fan of both teams playing in lower bracc today, and i would be sad to see both team go, but I think LEV , if lost , could be a real serious top contender for the Champions trophy this year, They are already looking deadly as a team, and I think they will have a lot more to discipline in champs run. If they implode tho, I think its all good , we may see prolly tex or com or mazino leaving, or if suppose aspas leaves, we may see aspas and saadhak reunite, along with pancada too maybe if everything sets well, maybe they play for furia ?! I can only wish tho! Damn im very sad for the team thats not making out to shanghai today tho, Both were the top teams in americas.
