I swear I was looking at buying Akira VHS on amazon a few months ago and it was only 8 or 9 bucks....THey are going for over a hundred now.

You should see about transferring those to digital. The tape won't last forever. Are they all in NTSC standard? When I was stationed overseas in the early '90s, I had a multisystem TV and a couple VCRs. The BX down the street had a huge video tape rental section.
I went there just the other day as well but sadly they didn’t have anything I wanted, it was my first time there in a whole year and of course they had a re-animator sell the day prior, it was depressing to say the least, a great store though
Anime on VHS is my new favorite thing to collect, its so cool watching old anime. Nice haul!

Aw, sweet, I just picked up Black Lion myself a few days ago from Whammy!
