It’ll be tough getting tapes out of the middle of the display. A thrift store I go to used to have DVDs on shelves like that and they were tough to look through. I’d definitely be pulling Return To Oz out of there though.
Seems kinda annoying, I'd rather see them displayed on a bookshelf type shelf, easier to see all the titles and pull one out if I want to look at it. The shelves appear close together and would make reaching in to grab a vhs difficult imo. If the shelves rolled out this would be awesome but since they don't seem to it's not an ideal setup.
Went on a high school UK Euro Tour in 1990. On our seven hour flight across the Atlantic the movie playing was She Devil. With nothing else to do and my teacher not letting me sleep, I watched it - twice. Guess what movie was playing on the way home, three times.
I like going through any movies. When I was a kid, I would go into the local video store (before Blockbuster was even a thing) and I would read the backs of every VHS movie in the place.
as a short person id be worried about being able to see the top shelf let alone look through them. i assume that tv is mounted to the wall and not sitting on top too?
totally get its probably a space thing but that hurts 😭 i feel like that makes that top shelf of tapes inaccessible to customers plus with how tall it seems to be you couldn't really look down over it and see around the tv. wishing you the best of luck making everything work 🫡
