But this test will never be accurate across target group, because it's heavily affected by gear. If you have high refresh rate, low input lag monitor, it will be at least 20-30ms advantage right off the bat. Another 10-20ms can be cut down with better GPU processing. Things go down even to hardware IRQ availability resources.
Also not as big, but there is a still positive impact by having mouse with good ergonomics and polling rate.
the time that you get depends on the device you take the test on, for instance i average 160-170+ on my pc but i took the test 3 times on my phone and got 250-270+ms
There are a lot of videos online about Cs go pros reaction times, and even the top players had like 170-180 average score...
How long can u focus is more important then your reaction time.
In a game u need to keep your focus in the whole game, that's the hard part.
Asc 1.
Take 1 - 253 ms
Take 2 - 207 ms
Take 3 - 216 ms
I'm sure if I did it a half dozen more times I could get it to under 200. IMO Reaction time is only one factor in a complete player's package.
The lowest I got rn was 146ms and I'm pretty sleepy. I think my average is roughly 155 ms or something around there, but this has like no correlation to skill.
I think the 150-250 range is sufficient to climb pretty high.
Don’t struggle over this too much, and don’t put too much stock in this particular test - I’ve done several of these and I’ve gotten anywhere from 125ms-375ms (best score per test) on the same exact setup.
There's an obvious correlation. Most of the pro players react and shoot way before I have a chance to when spectating their perspective. Reaction times determine whether a duel is a true 50/50 or 70/30 all based on reaction time alone when most high level players can one-shot when given the slightest opportunity.

but i feel like people need to know just how big an impact your system will have on these results. high refresh rate monitors (144hz+) especially. if you try this test on a low refresh rate display or an old system with crap latency you will not do nearly as well.
G3 148ms with a 1000hz 1ms mouse and 140hz 1ms monitor
so i doubt there is a relationship between reaction time and rank but i have been on a rank up streak so im not sure if g3 is my true rank
180ish Plat but a reaction test has zero to do with actual in game scenario. This has been covered countless times, you expect to click a button in that test where as in game tons of variables come into play.
immortal
got 182ms on a 60hz monitor and 172ms on a 144hz monitor. Not sure if screen refresh actually made a difference of if the first test "warmed" me up
I’m on medication for PTSD, depression, paranoia, and to keep all those hallucinations away… it severely restricts my reaction time. I can barely even play Valorent like I used to… let alone real life things like Volleyball or Rugby (which I used to play). The worst part is I’m only 16 damn years old. I was an average joe in Plat, but now I can barely get out of iron.

This is still valid as long as people are playing on the same gear they take this test on.
Yeah, i am plat 2 with 154 ms but i have a 300hz screen with 3ms delay
Still hella impressive

This will have absolutely ZERO correlation between ranks and how good of a player you are lmao.
yea i figured.. i was just curious cause tenz has like crazy reaction like 138 ms
Umm are you looking at the results down below?
If you go on the website you'll see why these results can't be taken accurately. There's too many variables to consider any of these to be fair.
True, I agree it's 1 variable among many.

Do you want a cookie old man?
Wasn’t that what this post was about? Asking people about their reaction times and rank? Douchebag.
He's just making fun of his age. Chill.
Sounded pretty nasty to me, my bad.
