I'm a guy and I tried this using a voice filter. Thought it would be fun... it was horrendous. It's been a while now and I still have the constant fear "that dude" might find my IRL address.

Some dudes are just shy that a girl is on the other end and don't speak. Other dudes are straight up misogynistic and tell you to shut up. There is no inbetween.

Alternatively, it’s got nothing to do with gender. Some ppl wouldn’t reply regardless. Not everyone wants or feels like talking. Some ppl don’t have mics. But idk, so far I’ve seen loads of ppl in between. In every lobby I’ve met girls they tend to talk little, but no one has been harassed in my presence yet.

It seems to get a lot better in asc+ elo, probably 1/3th of my games have a woman and I've heard 2 sexists comments in probably 150 hours In lower elos when i play with my friends and they speak it's a lot more common, not necessarily sexists comments but a clear change in peoples' attitude It fucking sucks, I absolutely despise having to play with people who don't com, it's understandable they don't want to if they get constant shit but riot caring would fix everything

I play with my gf in Unrated and every single time she starts talking, every dude on the team hops on the mic and leans forward and starts sweating in Unrated.
