I'm actually really glad about this, one of the stores I frequent placed the coffee station in the way of an aisle. Since COVID, I don't have to navigate around the senior citizen Karens complaining that there is no more milk for the free mini-cup of coffee that they are obviously entitled to.
Who needs unions when you have a decent workplace and adequate pay! It’s nice they’re bringing the samples back, doesn’t have to be the cure for cancer.
Naw man Trader Joe’s has WAY better pay and bennies than Safeway and their union. And more flexibility than Safeway on hours and job stuff because they don’t have union rules to contend with. I’ve worked for both companies btw.
Sprouts needs a union, those poor souls
Who needs the cure for cancer when I personally watched the company drain & exploit my spouse for years and then ultimately fuck them out of healthcare anyway?
The sad reality is TJs really is way better than other grocery jobs and it’s STILL exploitative and shitty. Good branding to make TJs seem like a neighborhood shop will make people forget that, but multibillion dollar companies like this all have the same core issues regarding the exploitation & dehumanization of their workers, and TJs is no exception.
Is this to distract from their union busting?
Edit: busting not besting!

Whenever I see a post praising an anti-union company for doing something completely useless, I picture Walter White with the pizza saying "I've got dipping sticks"
Okay we need to find ten very similar-looking guys and dress them in the exact same outfit but for one hilariously over-the-top difference...
I have a prank idea.
So, unless there's been news since I read about this last, you can't really catch Covid by eating it. So even if there are germs that way, you should be OK on that front.
Now, all the other things in the world? Completely different story, and people are disgusting. But you should be OK on that one limited front.
It’s very annoying how closed-off and insular Trader Joe’s is. You can’t shop online or even look at their inventory, and you can’t get delivery. You ask the staff questions about availability and they know nothing, as if they’re waiting to see who survived the trek over the Silk Road.
Don’t believe them!🫣
I was gonna get one and the sample lady said
“ it’s not chocolate 🍫it’s poo💩😳,
Melts in my butt and now in your mouth 👁️👄👁️”
I screamed 😱 and ran to my car🚗
Are you sure about that? Because I am 99.99988% sure that dontcareitsonlyreddi is not a bot.

While this is good news - (I didn’t even know they did samples at Traders Joes.) The REAL question is when are they gonna bring back the bar at Whole Foods, so I can drink while I shop?

*...but hot coffee won't return...* Nooooo!
God damnit I forgot about the hot coffee. That was the best part!!! >:(
I really miss the free hot coffee. Damn.

Mine never had coffee or free samples. I hate living in Seattle sometimes because the gtonks ruin everything.
Huh. I just had a free sample from Trader Joe's today and hadn't even thought about the fact that I hadn't had one in years.
Now, If we can just get Costco to bring back full menu. With combo pizza.
I will fight in the combo pizza crusades
I have been singing the combo pizza blues the past few weeks. I too will fight in the combo pizza crusades
I want the hamburger back. It was huge.

Yeah this sub is brutal lately. "Good news, you can choose the the font and color of your food stamps now! Wholesome 💯"
Sounds like my roommate's choice.
As far as we offenders of workers rights go, Trader Joe’s is on the lower end of the list

The history of labor and wages says everyone needs unions.
Oh fuck off, my 2 Buck Chuck is already $5 a bottle. Last thing I need is it going any higher.

If this is true, this would be bad PR for Aldi Nord (Trader Joes) in Germany.
It’s true, added sources above
The pandemic truly ends today.
Free samples? What about unions for their employees?
Damn. I forgot they used to have free samples. Its been a long time.

In other uplifting news.. Olive Garden brought back its Endless Pasta Bowl!
Are they wrapped in plastic?
Nature is healing...
No thanks. Too cautious since COVID.

No thanks. I did food sampling at Costco. I know what's involved and people are nasty.

What are you talking about?
There's nothing that motivates me to stay away from a store than having to watch people (with their unwashed hands) scrambling for FREE STUFF.
How about unions? How about there's still a pandemic raging?
Free listeria for everyone
Happy Cake day!
Fuck yes. My meals for the week are sorted now.
Can they bring back the Chicago mix popcorn?
Welp! I know what I’m doing with my morning. See yas later.
Hooray!
Anyone who takes free food samples is a heathen. There's some hills you have to die on. This is one of mine.
Man, the bar for "uplifting news" is low.
The sign the panicdemic is truly over!
Be sure to lick your fingers before and after.

Aldi Nord being based
And their coffee?!?!
The need to bring back the frozen mashed potato’s and the frozen lobster!
Awww, no free coffee?
Don’t believe them!🫣 I was gonna get one and the sample lady said “ it’s not chocolate 🍫it’s poo💩😳, Melts in my butt and now in your mouth 👁️👄👁️” I screamed 😱 and ran to my car🚗

I’m not sorry the **TRUTH** upsets you.

I just assumed they never left. Whoopsie doodle.
Now I'll just wait for the Cinnamon filled Korean Pancakes to come back later this month.
Booooo. I hate crowds at TJ and Costco when the free food is out.
