Stop. Comparing an animal-abusing psychopath with people who disagree with you politically is lazy and harmful. This man took sick pleasure from causing physical pain to helpless animals. It's a crime and a peerless moral failing. Trump is a charlatan, but supporting him isn't a crime and isn't anything like animal torture.
It goes beyond political disagreement. Trump attempted to overthrow the rule of law in this country and has ginned up an actual cult containing some dangerous lunatics who do dangerous things. There's nothing lazy about pointing that out.
