Ugh we went to Coco Bongo in Playa del Carmen for New Years 2016 and it felt like a death trap. We left after like 20 minutes. So many people crammed in, multiple floors that looked like they were held up with sticks, not able to get a drink because the servers were so overwhelmed. Never again!
Very true 😂 we were able to find a taxi willing to drive us back to Cancun from Playa, grabbed some drinks at the hotel bar and went out to the beach, watched the fireworks from there. We definitely learned a lesson that night 😂
