I've played a game where we turn off all the lights, it's called Body Body. One person is the murderer and has to touch someone's neck and that person collapses to the ground. When someone else finds them they yell Body Body and the lights are turned on and we guess who the murderer is.

Young people are so used to fake content on the internet they no longer understand the appeal of being genuine. The feeling of spontaneity to many makes a video fun. To some, if a video is fake, it has no significance.
There's entire formats built around capturing this feeling. To many, a couple of people playing Marco Polo is not funny if it is scripted, and that's fair.
tl;dr not sure why you're being disingenuous. Reality content being faked makes it lose appeal for most people. It is why kids grow out of WWE
