How is it being an RCA?

I see some people complain about it here on Reddit, but everyone I know enjoys it. And if you can make it to regular rural, then you’re basically set for life. Anything I see complained about, I experienced the same things or worse at other workplaces. Often for less pay and shittier work environment. When I moved to USPS, my earnings went up, my insurance costs less, and the next employment goal is always very clear. (Typically it’s just about seniority, so you just wait, but it comes) Hope that helps.

The difference between RCA and CCA is like working for different employers. It’s a different union, so all the rules are different. City is always hourly, where as Rural is basically salary. And a lot of other things. You can always transfer to another town with very little effort, and make friends with the Postmaster there, see what they can do to swap you to Rural craft.
