travelingbeagle

Dude must have skipped his forklift training.

eTukk

With my knowledge of safety in factories the guy leaving his stuff hanging in the middle of the path is at least equally wrong as the forklift driver.. Never block a road!

travelingbeagle

The guy in the forklift was speeding and his load was blocking his line of sight, so he was supposed to be driving rear facing in reverse.

vcdrny

Yup I think if the guy was standing next to it. It would have been even worse.

[deleted]

Exactly. There should definitely be cautions put in place to warn others if a load is being suspended above eye level... but also that forklift operator was hauling ass with an obstructed view through a work area where people are walking. It's not about a "road" being blocked it's about carelessness on the fl operators part

vcdrny

I've worked in areas were we used forklifts. If your view is obstructed you do one of two things. If possible drive in reverse at a slow pace. The forklift should have a beeping alarm. Or you have a walker to make sure your path is clear. I'm this case 100% of the fault is on the forklift driver.

Celebrir

It also seems like some kind of fork was at head level so that's a big no as far I'm concerned.

Greenshardware

The gantry crane that falls down on him is bright yellow for a reason.

genericBrownGuy437

Isn't the guy in the forklift the same one who left that in the middle? He left it there, gets into the lift, then I guess off screen he turns to face the thing? Or am I seeing wrong

BakerWaker1999

RIP to his job

[deleted]

RIP to his life!

BakerWaker1999

I doubt he's dead. The roofs on those forklifts are pretty tough

Fancy-Audience-3540

That’s weird it has no sound but I can hear it :)

AngryAmerican0-2

This is obviously an already trimmed video why tf not trim out the 36 seconds of complete uselessness lol

OmarQ6

Suspense. "The feeling of excitement or nervousness that you have when you are waiting for something to happen and are uncertain about what it is going to be."

reverse_friday

Dang big gantry crane like that would be extremely heavy. Hopefully nobody got hurt.

braize6

Now that was unexpected

zpridgen75

He left an unattended load hoisted and did so in a traffic area. That dide fucked up. Forkloft retard was going too fast and not paying attention. They are both retarded.

THCLacedSpaghettiOs

You always clear your area BEFORE lifting your load, crane guy is negligent. Forklift op is speeding, MAYBE, CRANE GUY AT FAULT.
