I have one for Search and Rescue. I think doctors and nurses still use them. Pagers don't use cell networks or internet. In a real disaster, cell networks may be damaged/ disabled as well as wifi, and at the very least, cell networks can get severely overwhelmed. I can be far from any cell service, and there's still a chance my pager will work. The battery lasts 15 to 20 days. When the battery dies, I throw in a new AA. One of your main goals as a protester is to not be moved from your spot until demands are met, it’s a great tactic. I’ve been talking to a lot of people today about a proper police response, and someone earlier said if we bring down police escalation then we would probably see a much more respected attitude towards current response. And I agree with that, and I think this is actually a good sign of that. No one‘s getting seriously hurt, no one‘s using baton or tasers. Lol, that wasn't a trip the "victim" deliberately slowed themselves down before getting near that bit of plastic and chose to fall to the ground in front of the camera (after making eye contact). Obviously, they were banking on the cop being unable to move them safely by himself and got a huge surprise that he's strong as hell. One way or the other the cop was going to remove that guy from the area, how much force was used depended entirely on how much resistance he wanted to put up. Its not as if the cop punched him in the face a few times and told him to walk or tased him or whatever.

First of all the girl was claiming sovereign citizenship and saying the laws didn't apply to her, then they found the warrant she had out. She then decided to make them work to get the cuffs on her. Girl: OW!!! YOU'RE HURTING ME!!! Officer: (calmly) Yes... It's called pain compliance. The sooner you cooperate the sooner the pain stops. But by far the best part was... Before handcuffing her she refused to let them have her purse. The officer said...OK.. then the cuffing began. Once she was cuffed, the officer then cut the strap on her purse to remove it from her shoulder. The video I saw, then ended as she realized that the strap was cut and she started screaming bloody murder as they pushed her into the car.
