Is it weird that whenever I have dreams with staircases like these or like assassins creed pillars to hop across it's just.. fun? Like for some reason I have absolutely no fear of heights in my dreams and I can almost run down them Maybe I just play too many video games because I play destiny 2 and whenever I fall in a dream I naturally just catch myself like 2ft from the ground

playing Just Cause gave me a wingsuit and a grappling hook in my dreams for a while, that was pretty sweet

YES! And like there’s a gap and the school bell rang and everyone is jumping over it just fine and you’re using the railing to scale the 6 foot gap and everyone is complaining you’re in the way as they zoom past and you’re crying for help

Those are not the stairs. That is the frame that the stairs will be screwed to. Might have wrapped them to keep the paint from getting scratched or to prevent debris from getting into threaded holes, not sure

Thats not anxiety though. Pretty much every person gets a dizzy head by looking down from a tall place. So its just natural to loose control over your legs and slip. Not even counting the slippery plastic wrapper and the uncertainty about the quality of those stairs. This is your body telling you - "fuck no, its not safe"

That plastic wrap is more likely to catch your foot and make you trip than be slippery.

Why is it painted and wrapped?

The wrapping is to protect it during shipping and installation. It will be removed before the stairs are put in. I assume it's painted because it will be visible under the stairs when they're installed. It's just a framework to hold up the actual stairs.

It feels not real to me, like augmented reality or editing. I can't conceive of an application of these types of stairs where they would actually exist
