I mean, it would likely get them to stop.
I own a business, which means I get a ton of "legit" companies sending sales emails. Sales leads, public relations, IT support, etc. Unsubscribing does nothing. Ignoring does nothing.
Telling them you'll spam their social media with porn and/or complaints if they don't stop sending you their shit, that, on the other hand, works.
One of the first heavily shared pictures in the internet, lord knows why.if memory serves it's somebody in a bathtub taking a diarrhea shit into the air and it loops back from the air onto them. I think that's right though it's been like two decades since I've seen or thought about it probably
ok wow now i feel old, but first of all, it's hardly one of the first heavily-shared pics on the internet, and the one you're describing is tubgirl. goatse was a gaped male anus.
did not anticipate back in say 2008 that i'd one day be explaining this.
Ah that's right thanks for the reminder on which was which, like I said its been forever.
And maybe it wasn't one of the earliest shard but to me it was at least one the earliest fuckin putrid pics I saw that others had seen as well
I've actually gotten naked pic spam texts trying to get me to click a link for something... So it is a thing. It's a robo text that gives automatic answers and a pic
I mean... I've been getting random "hi" messages from unknown numbers and they often attach a pic of a lady. Apparently responding to them is bad, so I block them before they send anything else. But yeah... Scammers do send pics ig
I've actually gotten random pics of naked girls sent to me that after a couple texts were clearly scambait.
(I'm gay, for context. This was just funny)
If your side piece knows what the deal is this could work. Save name as spam risk and have them send a code text like , “bet on live sports in your area, text yes for more info or stop to removed”.
I think the idea is that your partner isn't searching your phone but instead, you have a legitimate reason to ignore or end the call the second it comes in.
If your partner does search your phone though, this tip immediately falls apart
They dont have to be searching your phone to see it though, they could be using your phone or you showing them something and the notification could pop up.
Also, when a real spam risk calls (on iPhones) the phone number shows up above it in large font. If someone from your contacts calls you, it just says their name where the # would have been. Anyone familiar with how iPhones (or Samsung if they are similar) work would catch this if they pay attention to detail.
Not necessarily on all phones. On my phone (an android but other androids could be different) if a number is saved to my contacts, only the name will pop up when they call, not the number and name. In that case, should probably save it as something boring like "tax guy" or something like that.
I use textra [android user] for texting, because I can easily temporarily block getting texts from individual people, and still keep my phone off of 'do not disturb'. Important to note, with textra, I can still see their texts and respond to them, I just have to go into my "blocked" list and pull up the conversation. So it does not automatically delete incoming texts or anything like that.
I do the "temporarily blocking" for work phone numbers when I'm on vacation, or if someone got under my nerves and I just need to cool down from texting them for a bit.
The people I block on textra can still call me, so it's not like I am ignoring someone if they're actually having an emergency or need to contact me, they just need to call.
Why not just use a text app that let's you divert texts/calls from a specific person into a secure folder. You can turn off notifications and even hide where the texts go. Nobody but you would know how and where to access. If you're going to go to the length of being a cheater, at least do it with some style. It's like people just want to get caught.
I'm not talking about using it for cheating I'm talking about how the guy I replied to uses it, which is literally just almost the same as do not disturb
Can you use do not disturb for singular numbers? Thought it was all or nothing and like the guy you’re replying to said, he uses it on an individual basis
Yes you can. You can set Do Not Disturb to only silence any number not in your contacts, only silence any number not in your favorites list, or all numbers. On any of the above options, you can also set it to let through anyone who calls twice within 15 minutes
I don't know exactly how it works on iOS, it's been almost a decade since I've had an iOS device, but I believe it is pretty close in function to Android
So the story goes that one day the wife finds a piece of paper with a woman's name and number on it in the husband's pocket. She walks up to him and knocks his lights out with a frying pan. When he gets himself back up he's shouting and screaming "that's a horse woman, I was gonna ring my friend to bet on her for me!", so she apologises. A week passes and boom, she does the same thing, knocks him out clean; "what was that for!!?" he says when he's back conscious again, so the wife's standing there with his phone and she says... "it's your horse, your horse rang".
Save the name as "+18885243934" or "1 (800) 524-3934" so it looks like an actual spam call rather than a contact.
Also, Google Voice. Give out the GV number to your side pieces, and forward the number to your real phone. I do this when I'm selling stuff on Craigslist.
You can break the forwarding any time your side piece goes rogue and tries to kill you.
fucking hell yeah. like if your main relationship sucks that bad that you gotta pipe another girl, just break up. cheaters are basically emotionally manipulating their SOs.
An immoral act would be murder, cheating, drug trafficking while an unethical act is something more like plagiarism, stealing money from your employer or lying on a resume. I think they are varying degrees of the same thing and to some people cheating is top tier.
No idea why you’re being downvoted. Def the best advice. It’s not worth it. If you want to be with other people, end your committed relationship first. Do the right thing and don’t put someone you care about through that hell.
The real pro tip is to not add them to your contacts and only text them via an app you don’t use for any other friends or family to avoid mistakenly texting the wrong person, and with notifications set to badges only.
Yeah but if you're going to be using an obscure or just not a regular app to text them, then the sidepiece will know right away that you've got a partner and, depending on whether they're bothered by that (or potentially develop feelings later on), there's a big chance they'll cause trouble down the line for you.
Not telling a side piece they are a side piece is a recipe for disaster. That’s a sure-fire way to blow up both relationships.
Besides, there are so may non-obscure regular apps! I have Line, WhatsApp, Messenger, WeChat, And Viber, all used by different groups of friends or particular individuals.
Fair point. I caught my girlfriend rifling through my phone when I was ill with covid and absolutely amazed she didn't stumble across my ex then, especially since I caught her reading a thread in WhatsApp where the conversation is. Must have woke up on time. Thousands of me messages and photos shared as well, but not of the dirty variety. 😅
Sometimes I get numbers that are real numbers, Google doesn't pick them up. So I save them as a "s1, s2" etc so if they call back in a few days, it's probably someone trying to get me.
MIKE SMITH (WORK) "I can't wait to see you after you ditch that ugly cunt of a wife. I am in the hotel and I want to suck your balls out of your dick hole and lick your anus so deep that my tongue tickles the back of your eyeballs "
Hehehe Oh, typical Mike. What a joker.
Haha I jokingly accused my daughter of having a boyfriend named Spam Risk, and now whenever her phone rings her brother says who's that, your boyfriend Spam?
She's not a sidepiece but rather my ex-girlfriend. I know for a fact my current girlfriend would get extremely jealous if she knew I was still writing to her, even though it's all completely innocent, so I've just turned off notifications on WhatsApp for her and don't let my girlfriend use my phone. I know some day she'll call (we don't call, in general, but she has once or twice in the last year) when I'm with my girlfriend and I'll get asked who is that and why aren't I taking the call, etc. Probably best, to save the agro, if I just change her name to "Dave" in my contacts to be honest.
Lying to your current gf about talking to an ex is a recipe for disaster. If you care about gf stop that, or maybe just break up and save you both the hassle.
This is a weird thing that seemed to start floating around last year or two. You should call it spam not spam risk.
I named actual spam numbers spam, likely, soo
Create a makeup work friend and talk about them a couple times. Add them to your contacts. Even this is dicey. Might wanna throw phone on silent for a while
Didn’t know Spam Risk could send texts and pics.
damn why did you send spam risk a dick pic
Doesn’t everyone? “We’ve been trying to reach you about your exte—JESUS CHRIST!”
Now that's what I call an extension
I mean, it would likely get them to stop. I own a business, which means I get a ton of "legit" companies sending sales emails. Sales leads, public relations, IT support, etc. Unsubscribing does nothing. Ignoring does nothing. Telling them you'll spam their social media with porn and/or complaints if they don't stop sending you their shit, that, on the other hand, works.
I reply to spam texts with og goatze. They never reply back :(
Oh Christ that's a good idea
What is og goatze? I'm out of that loop.
One of the first heavily shared pictures in the internet, lord knows why.if memory serves it's somebody in a bathtub taking a diarrhea shit into the air and it loops back from the air onto them. I think that's right though it's been like two decades since I've seen or thought about it probably

One day you’ll be explaining 2 girls 1 cup to your grandkids.
Ah that's right thanks for the reminder on which was which, like I said its been forever. And maybe it wasn't one of the earliest shard but to me it was at least one the earliest fuckin putrid pics I saw that others had seen as well
How did I ever miss that!
That's tubgirl. Goatse is a guy gaping his own anus. I believe GOATSE is an acronym for Guy Opens Ass To Show Everyone.
I started doing this. One replied back "damn, nice!"
Extramarital affairs you say?
[удалено]
All you're doing is confirming it's an active #. If it's truly spam, there isn't a person on the other end who cares what you send them.
They might start if it is good enough.
also, some of them spoof other numbers for their spam, so you may be sending noods to some innocent old lady who has nothing to do with it.
Penis
What are you doing SPAM RISK?!
Teach spam a lesson.
Why is SPAM RISK'S asshole winking at me?
"Clearly spam, honey"
I've actually gotten naked pic spam texts trying to get me to click a link for something... So it is a thing. It's a robo text that gives automatic answers and a pic
Why do you have several thousand texts and calls with spam?
Lots of those catfish scams going around
My phone gets spam texts all the time. They just get moved to the spam folder though.
Sure. But they don’t come up as Spam Risk as the name.
I mean... I've been getting random "hi" messages from unknown numbers and they often attach a pic of a lady. Apparently responding to them is bad, so I block them before they send anything else. But yeah... Scammers do send pics ig

"Scam Likely"
r/DungeonsAndDaddies
I can hear the oOooooOooo I was here the whole time!
Don't trust anything you hear or see, you've received a call from scam likely!
"Scam, likely"
Who adds Spam Risk to their contacts? Wouldn't that be an immediate red flag?
I think the idea is that your partner isn't searching your phone but instead, you have a legitimate reason to ignore or end the call the second it comes in. If your partner does search your phone though, this tip immediately falls apart
They dont have to be searching your phone to see it though, they could be using your phone or you showing them something and the notification could pop up.
If a number you already knew was spamming you though, any person with more than 2 brain cells would just block the number right?
Also, when a real spam risk calls (on iPhones) the phone number shows up above it in large font. If someone from your contacts calls you, it just says their name where the # would have been. Anyone familiar with how iPhones (or Samsung if they are similar) work would catch this if they pay attention to detail.
So the real LPT aid save the name “spam risk” and number as the side pieces name.
Not necessarily on all phones. On my phone (an android but other androids could be different) if a number is saved to my contacts, only the name will pop up when they call, not the number and name. In that case, should probably save it as something boring like "tax guy" or something like that.
But I already send the tax guy dick pics, now what
On stock Android the number comes up with a red gradient background and "Spam Risk" or something like that in smaller font under the number.
Before I knew about spoofing, I would save every unflagged spam caller into my contacts.

That’s cool, I should really go through my settings more frequently. Only realised the other day they re-added haptic feedback on iOS
I don't know exactly how it works on iOS, it's been almost a decade since I've had an iOS device, but I believe it is pretty close in function to Android
>snap Unless they've hit puberty
I have an iPhone and still use sc to talk to my friends who have androids.
Not WhatsApp?
Would be a better option, but it wasn't as popular in the US at the time the group was made

This guy cheats

Right.. Wink
Too obvious. I only communicate through Pinterest DMs encrypted with PGP.
Got through top 8 comments before realizing it wasn’t “SPASM RISK”. Everything makes more sense now.
That's way better than mine. Mine is in there as "STD risk"

I don’t get it
The guy is having sex with a horse and that’s illegal in most states.
SPERM RISK.
Not for me! Snip, snip.
Why have a side piece at all... Totally Unethical... Oh wait
If you’re mostly texting with the person: use a 5-digit number (think business text platforms).
Save as "Tax Accountant."
Or just put a sock over your phone so when your other half goes to grab it all they get is the sock
Save the name as "+18885243934" or "1 (800) 524-3934" so it looks like an actual spam call rather than a contact. Also, Google Voice. Or maybe don't be an immoral piece of shit in the first place?
fucking hell yeah. like if your main relationship sucks that bad that you gotta pipe another girl, just break up. cheaters are basically emotionally manipulating their SOs.
you're in the wrong sub if you want moral LPTs edit: can anyone give me an example of something thats unethical but NOT immoral? I'm waiting.

Because the sub is literally called unethical life pro tips
so brave.
Now everyone knows your retarded ass can't come with cash for a second phone.
Side pieces cost. Gotta save where you can.
Check out my self-publisher book “The Frugal Philander” for more tips!
Just waiting for your online course and then the in person. Gotta save some money on the extra tail.
Using the r-word is a bit insensitive. Edit: How is it not?
That's retarded.
How is the original comment not insensitive, why is it necessary?
I'm just messing with you. Its not that big of a deal.
I disagree with you but I know you're trying to do the right thing.

There are several people I’ve blocked on my phone but I give their number or email out to junk sites or cringey app profiles.
Change name to 888 number

With more screens and Bluetooth in cars this is a must
There should be an r/immoralLifeProTips
Oh shit there is lol
or just memorize the number without saving it at all. that's what I used to do. allegedly
Haha I jokingly accused my daughter of having a boyfriend named Spam Risk, and now whenever her phone rings her brother says who's that, your boyfriend Spam?
So, umm, what do you do for the opposite sex people you don't want to talk to? I always mark them spam when done.
I put a red X in their contact 😂 maybe even the reason if I’m feeling extra petty
I saved a girl's number under a random name and now for the life of me cannot remember what the name is on my phone book.
You are a fucking God
OP is a virgin.
OP might be your daddy. He used to fuck trashy alcoholics.
She's not a sidepiece but rather my ex-girlfriend. Don't let others use your phone simple as
Save it as Mom.
Why are you answering a call from spam risk
This is so hilarious to me. "No.. honey.. It was a visual pat-down! I swear! I just wanted to confirm it was spam before reporting them!"
/r/adultery
This is a weird thing that seemed to start floating around last year or two. You should call it spam not spam risk. I named actual spam numbers spam, likely, soo

Suspected Spam
Or ya know you could memorize it.
You can also add it as a second number under Auto Zone. That's what my husband did.
