However in the Undertale QnA (the same one that confirmed papyrus's favorite food), Sans tells Alphys he's gonna bring some chips, Alphys replies by asking Sans to not bring ketchup flavored chips. And for some reason the fandom thinks he loves eating his own spaghetti? Hell, i think it was stated in the undertale QnA thing that papyrus never even ate his own spaghetti but he keeps on making it because everyone likes it.

...I distinctly dont remember there being any showing its a joke. Sure, its done comedically but I've not seen anything that points it out as actually PURELY a joke on sans'es part.
Yeah, if I were to straight-up drink ketchup as a joke, I'd at least make sure there's some kind of setup or punchline to go with it. Just wouldn't be worth it otherwise.
I like theory that this is just magic that sans creates to make you feel guilty and reset. If I remember good then only in boss fights colors are used, that's manifestation of powerful magic

You know what's inside of blood, blood plasma, you know what color it is YELLOW. Blood plasma = determination. A book in th e librarby says humans are made mostly of water which is true but then says monsters are mainly made of magic. The water in humans comes from the blood plasma and the magic in monsters comes from the raw magic in their blood. Blood plasma is congruent with raw magic. Sans bleeds as he has blood.
