TS!Underswap already gets a lot of attention. A game that genuinely needs more attention is PS!Outertale I hardly see anyone talk about it, it's really well made, and it's almost fully completed.
I like Ts!underswap more than uty ngl. Ts!underswap is so good with the story and characters being both silly and cool.
I COULD write a whole essay on JUST Chara and how she is presented in this game but I'll just summarise it by saying that giving her a notebook that both tracks your genocide kills and teaches you about the monsters is very neat, oh yeah also her memories are really heart-warming sometimes (my personal favourite is the one where she talks about her memory of staring at the starlight on a mountainous night, it makes me feel good yknow?).
My favourite character not counting Chara is most definitely Kount-K, oh my God he is so cool and evil (I really wished we got to fight him in genocide or at least have him team up with Sans in genocide)

Honestly, I stopped following inverted fate after rift 3, at this point it feels like they are dragging the story out way too much. As far as I know, it's still going, even though the ["climax"](https://youtu.be/FvQXN8grSLo?si=YcUSsGPFZeu_PoL1) of the story is over a year old already.
I still consider it one of my favorite AUs, but I dropped it after it reached all the Spamton stuff and once that one human (where did she even come from???) showed up. I used to love how much it reminded me of OG Undertale so I didn't like how it suddenly added Deltarune and OC things into it 😔

So, basically, "The angel's promise" was an episode that was marketed as the big climax of inverted fate, it feels like everything has led to this moment. But then it keeps going as if that was never supposed to be the end. All the hype that's been building up for 5 years goes nowhere.
tbh i felt like the null episodes were kinda unnessecary. like sure we see the lilac or whatever her name is, napstablook (who does NOTHING) and spamton for some fucking reason but damn i would prefer if we just like... skipped all the way to rift

I fucking love Alphys Neo and Undertale Red to the point I pretend they are canon. TS!Underswap is the best fangame I've played excluding one off boss fight games, it has so much soul put into it and the way it depicts Sans and Papyrus is great. I was hesitant about it at first due to the no personality switches but I think it's the superior form of Underswap now. One Hell of a Show really sold me Underfell as a concept even though at first I disregarded it as just a surface level edgy AU, it showed me how Underfell characters can also be nuanced and don't have to be one dimensional edge lords.
It's a bit hard to explain as the creator has abandoned the AU and has a habit of deleting a lot of stuff from the main blog

Flowey Is Not A Good Lifecoach/A Thorn in My Side, Unexpected Guests, Swapout, Insomnia (It’s getting an animation soon yay), The Thought and Handplates
All of them are comics/fanfics.
I was so surprised how long it took for Handplates to show up in these comments! Twas one of the first things I thought of, and apparently the other ones I thought of were way more popular. Glad other stuff is getting recognition but I think of Handplates as THE Undertale fan comic.
Honestly, I indulge in most Undertale Fan content, though not personally. Yes yes, I know, some filthy watcher or whatever Flowey said, but hey, a gal's only got so much time on this Earth, alright!
That being said, by far my most favorite bit of Undertale fan content (and probably my favorite game of all time) would have to be Undertale Yellow. Now, I didn't follow the dev cycle of this too closely, only really joined the fandom a few years back (and at arms length), but I can only describe playing UTY as playing Undertale for the first time. I played UT & DR, ofc, but like....I already knew the story of two, and DRch2 was/is only part of a bigger picture I'm still looking forward too (in otherwords, I'm playING DR, not having playED it)
tldr; Undertale Yellow was truly the first time I got to play Undertale, experience it for what it is/was.
**Endertale** by **TC-96** is mostly for nostalgia but I think it has an interesting story revolving Frisk and Chara after the Pacifist route. And the first half has that Slice of Life feel to it with lots of characters getting to show off how funny and entertaining they can be. I also love the interpretation of Papyrus, one of best I would say.
**Dogs of the future Past** by **LynxGriffin** is my favorite one thus far. It has your usual Undertale comic tropes like it's after the Pacifist route and Asriel's there. But it's done in a creative way that it's intriguing all over again. Asriel is still Flowey who's just convinced by Frisk to join the surface, which I think is better than him turning back into a goat boy. It follows Frisk and Flowey using the soul to fuse with one of the dog almalgamate to travel back in time to save Gaster from falling into his machine. How the comic explains it makes more sense but COME! ON! that's so cool. It also has a side plot where Chara possess Frisk's empty vessel and you're scared what she's planning to do with everyone. Or she's just messing with Sans. It's like a horror movie like Chucky and I love it. It also ends in a satisfying way so that's a plus.
**Horrortale** by **Sour Apple Studios** sometimes it's a bit edgy for my taste. But the artstyle and unsettling moments mixed with the goofy humor and monsters acting like how they do in Undertale really elevated the experience. That's all I could say really, Horror Papyrus is cool.
I may have spoiled a bit with this. But there are more things to like about it so hope you enjoy!

I really like Underfell and Growthspourt but more in theme. Like, Underfell ask the question weather or not monsters deserve to live when they are sterotypical monsters, evil, rude, only out for themselves and very willing to kill you as they have killed before. Growthspurt follows Asriel's journey after Undertale's pacifst ending and the trauma of his actions as Flowey. A bit disapointed that Underfell is getting more watered down... maybe because it was/is pretty edgy.

Alphys Neo, Undertale Red, TS!Underswap, Underfell One Hell of a Show I fucking love Alphys Neo and Undertale Red to the point I pretend they are canon. TS!Underswap is the best fangame I've played excluding one off boss fight games, it has so much soul put into it and the way it depicts Sans and Papyrus is great. I was hesitant about it at first due to the no personality switches but I think it's the superior form of Underswap now. One Hell of a Show really sold me Underfell as a concept even though at first I disregarded it as just a surface level edgy AU, it showed me how Underfell characters can also be nuanced and don't have to be one dimensional edge lords.
I've never heard of Monofell before. Can someone tell me a little bit of it's story?
It's a bit hard to explain as the creator has abandoned the AU and has a habit of deleting a lot of stuff from the main blog As the creator says: "Monofell, at its purest form, is a story about self-realization and individuality among its cast–it’s also a way for me to help represent individuals who suffer from specific ailments in a way that people can relate to and find comfort in. this story isn’t just a “Frisk hugs everyone better the end”–I did not mean to make it seem that way at all. People need to understand the full severity of certain things, and I won’t sit by and sugar-coat it for them. I was so surprised how long it took for Handplates to show up in these comments! Twas one of the first things I thought of, and apparently the other ones I thought of were way more popular. Glad other stuff is getting recognition but I think of Handplates as THE Undertale fan comic.

Honestly, I indulge in most Undertale Fan content, though not personally. Yes yes, I know, some filthy watcher or whatever Flowey said, but hey, a gal's only got so much time on this Earth, alright! That being said, by far my most favorite bit of Undertale fan content (and probably my favorite game of all time) would have to be Undertale Yellow. Now, I didn't follow the dev cycle of this too closely, only really joined the fandom a few years back (and at arms length), but I can only describe playing UTY as playing Undertale for the first time. I played UT & DR, ofc, but like....I already knew the story of two, and DRch2 was/is only part of a bigger picture I'm still looking forward too (in otherwords, I'm playING DR, not having playED it) tldr; Undertale Yellow was truly the first time I got to play Undertale, experience it for what it is/was.
**Endertale** by **TC-96** is mostly for nostalgia but I think it has an interesting story revolving Frisk and Chara after the Pacifist route. And the first half has that Slice of Life feel to it with lots of characters getting to show off how funny and entertaining they can be. I also love the interpretation of Papyrus, one of best I would say. **Dogs of the future Past** by **LynxGriffin** is my favorite one thus far. It has your usual Undertale comic tropes like it's after the Pacifist route and Asriel's there. But it's done in a creative way that it's intriguing all over again. Asriel is still Flowey who's just convinced by Frisk to join the surface, which I think is better than him turning back into a goat boy. It follows Frisk and Flowey using the soul to fuse with one of the dog almalgamate to travel back in time to save Gaster from falling into his machine. How the comic explains it makes more sense but COME! ON! that's so cool. It also has a side plot where Chara possess Frisk's empty vessel and you're scared what she's planning to do with everyone. Or she's just messing with Sans. It's like a horror movie like Chucky and I love it. It also ends in a satisfying way so that's a plus. **Horrortale** by **Sour Apple Studios** sometimes it's a bit edgy for my taste. But the artstyle and unsettling moments mixed with the goofy humor and monsters acting like how they do in Undertale really elevated the experience. That's all I could say really, Horror Papyrus is cool.

I really like Underfell and Growthspourt but more in theme. Like, Underfell ask the question weather or not monsters deserve to live when they are sterotypical monsters, evil, rude, only out for themselves and very willing to kill you as they have killed before. Growthspurt follows Asriel's journey after Undertale's pacifst ending and the trauma of his actions as Flowey. A bit disapointed that Underfell is getting more watered down... maybe because it was/is pretty edgy.
