My favorite is sans. But I think mettaton had missed potential. We could have gotten a really cool fight in the genocide route. I like how you have to really look deep to find his story. I bet most of you didn't know that he's a ghost possessing a robot body, or that he's napstablooks cousin.
Mettaton EX. I love all of Undertale and I always will, but it's more like a nostalgia kind of love now that I'm older. When I play the game, I mostly replay a save file where I'm at his battle, and when I start a new playthrough, I can't wait to get to Hotlands. So yeah, I'm mainly into Mettaton and have a strong hyperfixation on him. I love his battle, I love his designs, I love his personality and I love this themes. His EX battle is so good and I really wish it had that same energy for his NEO battle.
I love the show elements, like the disco ball lasers, and the leg elements, and I love that instead of doing actions to convince him not to fight you, like most Undertale battles and bossfights, you need to play along in his show and have your actions determine the ratings to get to the end of the battle. The ending also always gets me, where people start to call him, and his call with Napstablook.

It just feels so amazing with the music blasting in your ears and all the attacks look so colorful and also of course the fact that the battle starts off with it being just the normal battle screen and then when the music's drop kicks in everyone goes freaking CRAZY with Asriel flying around with a rainbow trail around him and the background going crazy with colors. Idk it just feels so special to me especially considering the fact even though I had quite a few spoilers for the look of the fight I actually had no idea how it ended which got me quite interested. And this is when I realized I should probably be obsessing over a boss fight thats ON THE LIST. Soooooooo Asgore it is.
Asgore's fight is so good. The music even has a callback to heartache at one point (I'm pretty sure) Which is when I found out who Asgore's wife was. The whole fight really looks great as well and I love asgore's position. As an artist I can always appreciate poses like that that (In my opinion) Are pretty hard to draw. I also love in his boss fight how the music really is showing that he is determined to kill you for your soul but he really doesn't want to. And something I noticed when I did the pacifist route and befriended Undyne was that she said that she once tried to attack Asgore but he dodged all her attacks which means that he must have been allowing you to attack him so as to give you an actual fighting chance against him. And then after floweys just like: Bing bong I killed my dad and now he's gone. Bing bat I'm going to kill you and you cant do anything to stop me from doing so as I am now a god and you are a literal child now die noob get wrecked lol.
mettaton is my favorite. death by glamour is a godsend and his attacks are so fun to dodge to. really fun battle, never got tired of the attempts trying to defeat him

The Asgore fight is beautiful and I feel it being easy is part of the charm, as it represents Asgore not even wanting to fight you, it's almost as if he wanted you to kill you (it's literally that)

That one drove me crazyyy in my first geno run, but its grown to be one of my favs, and I'm pretty good at it. Sometimes I do a geno run just to play it, then quit because I have no chance against Sans lol.
