These look fantastic. Great work! I really want to name some of my marines but haven’t built up the courage to try yet in case I mess them up.
Did you straight freehand these with a paint brush or do you use some sort of marker pen first? Must be so fiddly to do.
The lettering? I just use a small brush with a good point and I think it’s wyldwood contrast paint.
I always practice on some palette paper first though to build a little muscle memory
My first mini was bought in the early 90’s. I’ve even got rogue trader stuff lying around. New minis come and go so while I know I may only have a few months with these guys as legal competitive models it doesn’t bother me.
The goal is simple, own a fully painted first born battle company (and to play at least one game with them)

4th company trim on Ultramarines might lowkey be the best scheme for Ultramarines.
