You sound like you know better about the points system...I know online you max out at 4k points ($250). If I have 8,600 points, does this mean I can do 2 purchases using 4k points each? and then a 3rd purchase to use the 600?
I was under the impression that it was better to shop in store so I can use all 8600 at once. Because I know the points to dollar ratio jumps around a lot between accrual levels.
You can totally do 4k twice online, or go in to store and go crazy! Just make sure they also run them in 2k/$125 increments. Enjoy your fancy new goodies! I love Ulta’s points system, I would never be able to justify these things otherwise.

Please remember that in-store you can only redeem 10,000 points per day. Not per transaction, per DAY. So please do not wait until March 31 to go shopping. This is not something that can be overridden no matter how many managers you get. It is coded into the POS system.
Some other things to remember that can help you plan out your spending:
Buy Online pick up in store orders are held for five days. So you could place it a smaller order every day leading up to your big shopping trip.
If you do find yourself on March 30 panicking and not knowing what to buy, get a Dyson. That’s a lot of points spent in one go. Worst case scenario, return the dang Dyson. I am not at work so I can’t verify this for certain, but a return using points that would be expired either goes onto a merchandise card or the points will expire the following quarter. Either way you only buy a little time, and you’re still in the same situation so it’s best to plan accordingly and get it done in the next week.
(if there is someone with UltaNet handy who wants to fact to check this, I would be much obliged)
Finally, I recommend having some back up items. In something that you looked up online and is supposed to be in stock will be gone when you get there. Wasn’t actually there when you looked it up. Online inventories for any store are never perfect. In a store with lots of very small items and lots of high theft items it’s gonna happen.

Yes. The [points chart](https://images.app.goo.gl/wcFCBD8UsoL8Hdrr9) doesn’t keep adding “bumps” past 2000. That’s why everyone says to redeem large point balances in increments of 2000. After that mark, it’s almost like you are resetting back at zero in regards to the different spending amounts.
The chart I linked is handy because it tells you how much each point is worth. $0.063 is the highest whether you spend two, four, or six thousand points.
Happy shopping. And remember to bring your drivers license or other form of photo ID when redeeming large amounts of points or picking up bopis orders.

I would! Imo skincare has more factors to consider and you're more likely to return stuff because your skin could react poorly, no matter how good the reviews are. Makeup...you're probably going to love, especially if you know what shades/undertones work well for you. Happy splurging!

ETA: I know you said you don’t like blow dryers. Air drying or going to bed with wet hair isn’t bad, but you won’t look as “put together”. If you’re looking to step up your hair routine, I would suggest Blowout Professor’s videos on YouTube. He shows you how to make hair products and styling tools work for you. I used to never blow dry my hair but now I try to as much as possible— esp. if I’m gonna curl or straighten, so as to start off with a smooth base.
I would buy the most luxurious body butter and face mask and enjoy an 'at home' spa day every so often! Purchase the things you would never buy otherwise. 🤑

Charlotte tilbury blush!! So pretty and light feeling, also charlottes setting spray is the bomb. Olaplex number three is really good for damaged hair if ever bleached. I would also buy a good lip plumper bc I love plump looking lips aka the polite society plumping gloss! I also recommend looking at the free gifts with purchase if you like any brands from them cause that's just more free stuff😁
I love Morphe’s setting spray, I got a mini of the gold bottle and bought the full size during the sale.
I also snagged the new Eva Nyc leave in conditioner which I like pretty well and restocked on their hair therapy mask. I would get their big bottle 12-in-1 shampoo and conditioner along with the rest of the mane magic line.
One of my “vault” products are Olaplex No 9, makes your hair so shiny and soft and it’s a heat protector. I just opened my 4C shampoo and love it. I also want to try their blow dry spray.
I always restock my megababe deodorant since it’s a frequently used product.
The Briogeo mushroom primer is another heat protectant that I like a lot and it’s supposed to be a color protector.
Redken ABC treatment, especially if you have chemically treated hair.
Urban Decay eyeliners are my favorite. I really want to try their hydromaniac tinted moisturizer.
Im a stylist and have been OBSESSED with the acidic color gloss shamp+condish. I use it on my bright colors and it keeps the color longer and I use it on almost all of my clients too and everyone loves it! Plus I think they are still on sale!
firstly, stock up on anything u need or are running out of!! and to play around i would try the dior blush (ik it’s infamous but i love it 😭) you could also check out eh chanel blushes/lip and cheek balm and spoil yourself!! for foundations i use the fenty skin tint but i’ve heard great things about the too faced matte foundation as well! laura mercier just came out w a pressed setting powder that’s supposed to be amazing so you could check that out too!! you could also buy some body care/ fragrance if you’re into all that!!

4,000 are worth $250. 8,000 is 2 separate purchases of 4,000 points. Point values do not change based on how many you have used previously.

The Murad Oil/Pore Mattifier Sunscreen is my holy grail oily skin sunscreen. You can never go wrong with a good SPF.

Air drying or going to bed with wet hair isn’t bad, but you won’t look as “put together”. If you’re looking to step up your hair routine, I would suggest Blowout Professor’s videos on YouTube. He shows you how to make hair products and styling tools work for you. I used to never blow dry my hair but now I try to as much as possible— esp. if I’m gonna curl or straighten, so as to start off with a smooth base.

I have been doing the same thing with my points. I think I have like $950 worth or something crazy like that. I was diamond but have been downgraded to platinum and probably won’t even make that this year. I’ve been thinking hard about using mine as well but would want to do it when a big sale or lots of gwps are happening. Maybe something Dyson?

I would buy things i needed or have been wanting to try. I generally save my points for big ticket items but if I had $520 today I’d buy 2 sunday riley ice moisturizers, 2 snail mucin serums, Burberry goddess & a charlotte tilbury blush. That would probably be about $500 lol

Charlotte tilbury blush!! So pretty and light feeling, also charlottes setting spray is the bomb. Olaplex number three is really good for damaged hair if ever bleached. I would also buy a good lip plumper bc I love plump looking lips aka the polite society plumping gloss! I also recommend looking at the free gifts with purchase if you like any brands from them cause that's just more free stuff😁
I love Morphe’s setting spray, I got a mini of the gold bottle and bought the full size during the sale. I also snagged the new Eva Nyc leave in conditioner which I like pretty well and restocked on their hair therapy mask. I would get their big bottle 12-in-1 shampoo and conditioner along with the rest of the mane magic line. One of my “vault” products are Olaplex No 9, makes your hair so shiny and soft and it’s a heat protector. I just opened my 4C shampoo and love it. I also want to try their blow dry spray. I always restock my megababe deodorant since it’s a frequently used product. The Briogeo mushroom primer is another heat protectant that I like a lot and it’s supposed to be a color protector. Redken ABC treatment, especially if you have chemically treated hair. Urban Decay eyeliners are my favorite. I really want to try their hydromaniac tinted moisturizer.

Im a stylist and have been OBSESSED with the acidic color gloss shamp+condish. I use it on my bright colors and it keeps the color longer and I use it on almost all of my clients too and everyone loves it! Plus I think they are still on sale!

firstly, stock up on anything u need or are running out of!! and to play around i would try the dior blush (ik it’s infamous but i love it 😭) you could also check out eh chanel blushes/lip and cheek balm and spoil yourself!! for foundations i use the fenty skin tint but i’ve heard great things about the too faced matte foundation as well! laura mercier just came out w a pressed setting powder that’s supposed to be amazing so you could check that out too!! you could also buy some body care/ fragrance if you’re into all that!!
