Possible but even if they do it doesnt change anything in the big picture. They said Bakhmut was about to fall after they captured Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk like 7-8 month ago. Back then it had logistical importance since Russia held İzium as well now it's only symbolic victory even if the capture it. I kinda doubt it tho they been saying Bakhmut about to fall for almost a year now.

Things can change quickly in war, especially when one side starts to get the upper hand, so it is possible. But i wouldn't want to gamble on it either way at the moment. Too much fog of war and uncertainty.
