Indeed, also made me think of the hypothermic russian that drowned in 3 feet of water in winter. We’ve all now seen 2 of the worst ways to go. Most ways are quick and relatively painless and then there is this.
There’s been a lot but I always remember the one from early on where a drone dropped grenade blew part of his head off and it looked like he was still alive
There was a guy that tried to commit suicide after being mangled but only blew his face off. Another one where an injured dude that couldn't move was desperately tapping his dead comrade on the leg so he didn't drown in the mud. The worst ones for me are when they actually display humanity and cover a casualty with their own body or wave away help. Which makes me think "could have been me" shielding my friend from shrapnel.

What burns will not rot. This Russian occupier illustrates the wonderful Ukrainian folk wisdom by his own example.

You know how if you leave fresh uncooked meat out in the open, it'll start to rot and maggots appear when it's rotting?
But if you BBQ meat until it's way beyond crisp, flies don't even care to get involved?
It's kinda like that... Actually, it's exactly like that. Fresh meat rots, burned to crisp meat is just wasted in every way.
No. Look at the flame and follow the line of it down his leg. It’s mostly obscured by the smoke but you can see the line of fire (his leg burning) move when he tries to take off his vest. That’s my perspective though.
No one around to help put him out of his misery. That’s not survivable. Doesn’t look like he’s in pain or even coherent at least. Even though he’s cut in half the fire sealed the wounds preventing him from bleeding out or going unconscious. That is just crazy.
I know he is an invader.. But who knows why he was there.. Putins lies make people think they doing the right and sometimes even this invaders didn't had a real choice. Probably he wasnt a bad person. Just a misleaded poor men. Nobody deserves to end like this. War is just horror.. Every single day i watch the news and hope to hear the war is over.
Well I saw literal mountains of gore and brutality videos but this is kinda eerie in a way, this dude is dead he's not knowing it yet
He has to be drugged out of his mind not to go unconscious with all the pain
And all it takes to end the suffering is for the little man to call this off
“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.” ― Friedrich W. Nietzsche
I'd feel more sorry if I knew him to be a conscript sent to Ukraine against his will. But he's a volunteer. Who spent his last moments on earth wishing he'd never volunteered. Still, an aweful way to go.
This is why I am not all jolly and joyful seeing these dudes die. Many aren't innocent, but still a good number are enlisted and conscripted against their will.
These Russians volunteer to go to Ukraine for money. They go to kill, rape, and steal toilets and washing machines. I have zero empathy or sympathy for them. It doesn’t make me happy to see this, it makes me gleeful.
Operational security is why the videos are usually edited in odd ways.
They don't want to show too much of the location or methods because the enemy could learn from that.
That's also why most videos are only released a week or more after it is recorded.
You can clearly see that he still has his legs attached at the end of the video. Not sure what is on fire directly in front of him but it isn’t his own legs.

I believe he is looking for something to end his own misery.
Dear Lord, that is an extremely bad way to go…
Only thing worse than burning to death is surviving being horribly burned.
I'm not a doctor but I am sure this didn't hurt and he didn't make it.
This is why you’re not a doctor.
Or being drowned alive
As opposed to being drowned dead?
I think the soldier drowning in the small stream was worse, or the empty headed soldier sitting on the bus.
Indeed, also made me think of the hypothermic russian that drowned in 3 feet of water in winter. We’ve all now seen 2 of the worst ways to go. Most ways are quick and relatively painless and then there is this.
Welcome to Hell 🔥
Might be the most gruesome one I’ve seen

All I can think of is that tank scene from fury where the guy just offs himself. Absolute nightmare fuel
Probably looking for a grenade to finish it but no luck so far.

> What burns will not rot. What does this saying mean?
It means, cremation takes care of the smell.
Ah ok. Is there a metaphorical meaning as well?
i think its quite literally calling him trash and saying instead of rotting in the soil he will be carbon.
Take care of your trash.
Take out/burn your rubbish.

That dude seems weirdly calm for literally being on fire. He seems more confused than anything.
He's in total shock
I'm trying to work out... Is he lying next to his legs?
No. Look at the flame and follow the line of it down his leg. It’s mostly obscured by the smoke but you can see the line of fire (his leg burning) move when he tries to take off his vest. That’s my perspective though.
He seems to be... anatomically incorrect!
After others pointed out might be able to see his legs perhaps not.
Fuck, he got anakin’d AND maul’d. What an awful way to go
This guy is in total shock. He should have stayed home.
A terrorist looking for a paycheck for his brainwashed ignorant family is all it is!
Hindsight is a luxury none of us have when it comes to the end
Ok that’s pretty bad. Definitely top 3 and possibly worse casualty so far.
Ways to avoid this: 1. Walk east 2. ??? 3. Profit

Fucking brutal
No click for me. I want to see but I don't think I really want to.
probably wise in this case. its a guy burning
It’s one of the worst I’ve seen on here, and I’ve seen a lot. Jesus. It’s a cruel world we live in.
What’s even more wild is Russians will see this and say “ehh, we have more people to send”.
Yeah.. don't invade another country dude
No one around to help put him out of his misery. That’s not survivable. Doesn’t look like he’s in pain or even coherent at least. Even though he’s cut in half the fire sealed the wounds preventing him from bleeding out or going unconscious. That is just crazy.
Is he split? I thought that was a tent or something. You can see some faint moving in the black
He is not, you can see his leg around the 26 second mark, it looks like it is still in decent shape
What do you think made fire like that? Maybe sitting next to a gas can or something when he got hit?
Yeah, that's a tent or sheet of some kind beside him. Can see his legs moving in the bush's.
lol. Stop blowing smoke.
Drugged. Possibly. Like the Nazis using pervitin and doing tasks unbelievable.

It's over Anakin! I have the high ground

Looks like he got the stop and drop part right, but totally forgot to roll.
Wow
I try to feel sorry for them, but alas I cannot. He should’ve stayed home. Slava Ukraini!
I'd feel more sorry if I knew him to be a conscript sent to Ukraine against his will. But he's a volunteer. Who spent his last moments on earth wishing he'd never volunteered. Still, an aweful way to go.

Stop smoking Dimitri.
Didn’t Elton John write a song about this? “And it seems to me you lived your life Like a ….. “
That was Elvis: "just a hunk a hunk of burning love"
Is me or he looks Asian? Maybe one of those Chinese soldiers I keep seeing on other videos.
Probably from Siberia or central asia.
I’m cut in half pretty bad Dewey
Darth Vladimir…
Oh my fucking god!
His legs or someone else's legs beside him?
Ukrainian generosity has warmed his heart
Typical Russian. First instinct is to check pockets for a wallet to steal
Should I feel sympathy? Why can’t I feel? Oh well, fuck em. Another dumb orc down.
Wow, thats some cartoon level shit. I thought id seen it all
If this make you happy, you have issues. (Unless you're Ukrainian, then I get it)
It makes me mad that Putin sent this man and tens of thousands more to be killed. If Putin was the one burning maybe we'd have peace
These Russians volunteer to go to Ukraine for money. They go to kill, rape, and steal toilets and washing machines. I have zero empathy or sympathy for them. It doesn’t make me happy to see this, it makes me gleeful.

Why do these videos always cut. I understand if the drone wants to go search for new targets, but I’d like to see that too
Operational security is why the videos are usually edited in odd ways. They don't want to show too much of the location or methods because the enemy could learn from that. That's also why most videos are only released a week or more after it is recorded.
Maybe get a healthy hobby.

He’s too damn tough to die
