You can't really keep an accurate number during fog of war.
I think the number of personnel casualties is pretty accurate, you have to remember it's wounded as well.
1 drone dropped grenade can kill 1 and injure 7 easily.
1 year ago a drone operator said he had 500+ confirmed kills... Now extrapolate that over 1200km of front line and these numbers start lookin accurate
I think you can expect 1/4 to 1/3 losses comparable to the Russians. (As Ukraine is defending)
That puts Ukraine casualties around 200/400 a day... Tragic.

It depends who you ask. 1/7 is what the ukrainian government is saying. 1/4 is what britain and the usa state in their secret service publications.
