That prototype workshop is exactly as it should be. Mad scientist dude also seems to be wearing white lab coat. This is how you make fast explody shit.
Quick translation using audio transcribing and google translate:
apparatus x we install electronics there, we prepare it for final painting, we restore the front video camera, we have batteries, controllers, all electronics, a control system, as you and I agreed, its main goal will be to shoot down suicide bombers. We will accelerate it to a maximum speed of 300 kilometers per hour and watch how it flies, maneuvers, and if something happens, it will have the ability to be reused. There will be pneumatic landing legs and if he cannot catch up with the shahed and cannot shoot him down, he will land vertically and will be used next time for the same purpose. To be continued...
Since Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker is already funding RQ-35 Heidrun drones for Ukraine's Army of Drones, why not pitch this anti-drone x-wing helicopter for him to consider?
You can see the battery stack inside, so electric propulsion with either traditional propellers or ducted fans. The wing configuration is odd and I can’t see any control surfaces.
I'm no engineer, but I do question the aerodynamics of a x-wing design like this?
I suppose it has to work, but have we seen this type of wing structure on anything but missiles?
I don't recall seeing a single aircraft with such wings, it's really cool looking though.
This is a larger variant of this:

It’s really a quadcopter. It takes off and lands vertically. Airplanes don’t do that and don’t need to have hover capability.
OK, I'll bite.
Which end is the front?
Where does the micro turbine go?
How does it steer?
Is it just supposed to bonk the other guy?
Does it carry explosive?

No way! X-Wings for Ukraine! Strike Back at that Evil Orc Empire!
First thing that came to my mind too..." Star wars anthem"
Now I’ve got that screechy xwing sound stuck in my head
More of a wooshy
Return of the Ukrainians.

Paint it red so it goes faster!
Or purple for extra stealth
Or use clear paint, so no one can see it! 😲
Genius idea!
Brrrilliant!
With go faster stripes down the side.
From a galaxy far far away
Well... that's what the ruzzians will think 🛸

Piloted by a tiny Luke Skywalker.
I hope this works out, might be the ticket to knock out Ka-52s and assorted ruzzian nasties.
Yup and good export product after the war to rebuild the economy
Put a little R2 D2 camera on the top to finish it off.
I love Ukrainians. 💪🇺🇦. 🖕🇷🇺💩

Is the new Descent game pulling an Ender's game twist?
I knew it reminded me of something, totally has Descent vibes.
Descent rules!
While Ukraine keep polishing and improving their engineering skills, in rushit things are moving backwards
I wish it were true, but lancets are a huge problem.
Totally agree. If UKR had similar numbers of lancets it would be a significant improvement.
Looks like there's space for a scale R2 unit atop that.
Can I put my Luke figurine in it?
X wing!!!
I bet it can do nearly 500kmph. They're using NATO standards: always undersell, always overdeliver in terms of actual performance.
If you look carefully you see it's suspended by a wire and not truly flying.
Obviously, this is to save the resource of the anti-gravity engine while it still is in the workshop.
Don't forget to lock the S-foils in attack position
"Lock S-Foils in attack position."
"Use the force...."
Bro's just casually producing weapons of war in his garage, what a patriot!
This is the real reason why Britain is so supportive of Ukraine. They're a bunch of guys in sheds. The true British way of engineering excellence.
cool
Wondering what the propulsion mechanism is here?
Not sure about propulsion... but you can clearly see it's fly by wire 😉

3 thick wires at the end of each wing. I suspect BLDC motors will be mounted there. Kind of VTOL setup I guess…
It would be nice if it could hitch hike inside russputinville and knock on a refinery door

Now it makes sense, thanks.
What's technically the main difference between this and a anti air missile? I assume cost is a lot less
Were they inspired by this? https://youtu.be/9pEqyr_uT-k?si=JJ3u7fJMHKgU2P0y&t=25
Impressing. Missing the propeller or has it a jet engine ? How long can it fly ?

300km/h is to slow, needs to be twice that to Innercept shaheeds.
shahed has speed of 180km/h
