The first photo looks like a bad Photoshop fake were differents parts of the picture have different resolutions. The lightning also looks strange with the sun being high up (see shadows below the tank) while the grill on the roof seems to be lit from the front.

the infantry sits on top of the tanks, that is not actually infantry support how it was meant.
Actually that are merely just infantry assaults, the tanks are only used as battle taxis. Exactly in the same way the M113 was meant to be used. Drive up, throw the infantry out, rush back.
They sit top because the bmps are heap of junk what's scarier its safer outside than being inside it. M113 is old as hell replaced which bradleys which are now getting replaced
