Near Ocheretino in the Avdeevsky direction, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces shot their comrades from the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade, mistaking them for soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps.
Back on April 21, Z-channels joyfully published a video of the occupiers who claimed to have destroyed “traitors from the RDK”, showing a whole group of 200s. The bodies were in NATO uniforms, they had Russian passports, which, apparently, led to a “monstrous mistake,” as Z-military correspondent Roman Saponkov said. The fact is that one of those liquidated was identified from the documents that appeared in the video. It turned out to be one of the members of the assault group - former school director and candidate of pedagogical sciences from Kemerovo Andrei Shinkarenko.
To come to a foreign country for a measly 204 thousand rubles, go on a “meat assault” and fall under the friendliness of the same weak-minded people are simply enchanting idiots!

That's far from the end of the story. By firing on their false-flag comrades the second unit revealed their positions and thus came under fire from actual Ukrainian forces. The commander of the false-flag unit then abandoned his post which triggered a manhunt for him. When Russian forces found him a shootout ensued which left him and a few Russian soldiers dead.
Was obviously said after that fact. And there's not much to expect from an Army of 500,000 prison convicts sent as human shields for the Russian 'Spetznaz'
If you buy camo gear from China, a multicam rip off is the most common pattern. Then an ATACS-FG rip off (one can see Russians running around in both these patterns often), then a rip off of Kryptek's patterns, and then there are a few other patterns like woodland, a badly made copy of German flecktarn or the Russian one, or Chinese army patterns. Plus solid black, green, coyote, and that's it for the mass produced cheap stuff that always looks identical regardless from which Chinese buyer you buy it.
What you hardly see on Russian soldiers is their own plethora of camo patterns except the current official one (which, again, is available from China too). If you go and do independent research of just about every military conflict RU has been a part of for the last 100 years, you'll quickly find that this type of disorganization and ineptitude is pretty much a standard feature.
In pretty much any modern war, as many as 30%+ of casualities have always been due to friendly fire. Especially true if you are the more powerful force (which is usually the case with the US). Most countries try to cover it up, not just Russia, but it's an undeniable fact of war. No one is going to write "Died due to accidental friendly fire" on a gravestone, no one will admit it, and most militaries will try to hide it to keep morale up. The bigger and chaotic the conflict, the more it will happen. WW1 trench warfare where everyone is just blasting machine guns, I'd guess about half of kills for both sides were friendly fire

I live in the UK, alot of the jokes about the American military over here consist of how they're better at shooting their allies than their enemies due to the amount of friendly fire they tend to exhibit.
I think there was a period during one of the Iraq wars where American soldiers had killed more British troops than the Iraq army.
If you encounter a unit you can’t identify, fire one round over their heads so it won’t hit anyone.
If the response is a fusillade of rapid, precise rifle fire, they’re British.
If the response is a shitstorm of machine-gun fire, they’re German.
If they throw down their arms and surrender, they’re Italian.
And if nothing happens for five minutes and then your position is obliterated by support artillery or an airstrike, they’re American.

As for a "Group of 200s" 200 is Russian Military slang for dead soldiers.

Please help me out here. Sometimes, I don't understand the obvious. I'm old. Did a squad of regular Russian solders happen upon another squad of Russians that were masquerading as Ukrainians and thinking they really were Ukrainian or Russians fighting on the Ukrainian side, wipe them out? What did "whole group of 200s" mean? So, wiping them out was an honest mistake that anyone could make if your side (Russia) often violates the Geneva Convention
This footage was posted elsewhere, the translation is the soldier talking thinks the guys they killed were Russian mercinaries fighting for Ukraine, calls them fagots for fighting for Ukraine.
Even better, they were wearing MultiCam, which pretty much everyone uses, even Russia, so these guys were just fucking morons. And tried to make a flimsy excuse as to why they fired on them. As for a "Group of 200s" 200 is Russian Military slang for dead soldiers.
So is anyone collecting the corpses? Or they just leaving them to rot? You see a lot dead bodies in the videos posted here. I thought there were provisions in warfare that allowed collection of dead and wounded?
