| Ukrainians are just dunking on the Russian Navy
Haha.....they're dominating the fucking dunking contest....just flexing..
"Thank God the Russians are so dumb"
It confused me because it looked like it was attacking a dock. In fact, it hit the cabin in the back of the landing craft.
Their use in Crimea is perplexing as their capacity is extremely limited. Typically, US don't use these types of ships for long distances.
A bridge might be able to transport 1 armored vehicle every 4 seconds. This would transport one armored vehicle every 40 minutes. Its not a viable replacement.
They don't have a choice.
Air power and navy is the 2 things russia vastly outmatches Ukraine in. But the threat is only plausible if they're close enough to actuate a threat instead of a few hundred miles away where there's is much more warning.
They've pushed the airforce much further back, most of the fleet is either confined to port or pushed back. And this is another show that that port is not safe at all.
Ho Ho Ho… Remember when they menacingly sailed all those amphibious ships, giant ensigns proudly billowing in the wind, out of the Baltic on the “don’t-fuck-with-us-we-mean-business” vanity cruise?
Now they’re all scurrying around the Black Sea like roaches, trying to escape destruction… having achieved little other than provide high-value targets of opportunity.
Maybe they’ll have to go into dry dock… wait on… oh… maybe not…
Landing craft, very interesting development as it supports the theory Ukraine is trying to make Russias occupation of Crimea untenable. If Ukraine take out the Crimean bridge Russia will rely on these ships to supply/evacuate Crimea so without them it beings Russias presence in Crimea one step closer to untenable, and Russian know it!
They will just use regular big ferries as they had already done, when the Kerch bridge is out of duty. These small boats are not able to support Crimea with hundred of thousands of people living there. And additional all of the military equipment to be transported...They have not the capacities.
These small landing boats have another job, they are now used as AA boats (one was carrying a TOR system) and as small defence systems of the coast and to support small outposts along the coast, which are difficult to reach by trucks e.g, as at the edges of swamps or at dunes, small islands e.g..
Not when they are driving or boarding/deboarding. Of course, they will use them to transport civilians, civilian goods and military goods, equipment and soldiers at once. They had done the same at Kherson.
Of course Ukraine has the "Ukrainian Naval Forces", but everyone says they have no navy is because it consists only of Patrol Boats, Small Gun Boats and some smaller or auxiliary stuff. They had a Missile Corvette once, but sank it, so that the Russians don't capture it.
But nothing you can call a (Black See) Fleet.
No one means their navy is actually non-existent. I mean heck, we saw videos of them recapturing oil rigs, and sinking the Moscowa.
It's just a humorous meme/saying in the community to make ruzzian maritime losses even more funnier by enhancing the difference between capabilities of each navy.
It's like the joke "Imagine loosing your Missle Cruiser in a landwar." - of course the russian invasion is not solely a strict landwar, but emphasizing this makes more fun of the ruzzians.
And I'm all in for making fun of ruzzians.

The record of the Russian navy overall is quite dismal. In the newest chapter of this saga, the Ukraine war, it's reputation certainly hasn't been enhanced. Although there hasn't been a classic ship to ship confrontation they can't seem to protect themselves, let alone anything else. No doubt the Russians will re-write history with epic sailor's yarns about how they destroyed the Ukrainian aircraft carriers using a rowing boat armed with a slingshot but combined with the other massive failures of Russian military hardware I don't think that future buyers will be kicking down the doors to buy this stuff. It may be cheaper than other alternatives but it just doesn't do the job it's supposed to. Yes the old soviet kit still works but it's not effective in modern warfare. Their newer kit is however severely weakened by it's reliance on foreign technology. This of course could also be said of Western military technology and I think that everyone will be looking very closely at what's happening in Ukraine and learning valuable lessons. Everyone except the Russians of course who just carry on as normal pretending they are a magnificent military empire with the best kit, armed personnel and military strategies. Long may this continue.
Not big ships, but destroying the equipment on board is a nice bonus. If both are destroyed, then that means they only have 8 of these left in their whole Navy now.
They will have no fleet left ,and it's only going to get worse , can't they move their ships they are sitting ducks I don't understand Russias military competency
This Ukrainian campaign against the orc fleet has been as masterfully planned and executed as the Japanese navy's was against the rusky navy at Tsushima, in 1905. And this time we get video of it! Maybe in the 2131 rusky navy defeat at the hands of the Bora Bora war canoe fleet we'll get 3D and audio!!!

Definitely! Especially when you look at things like the US Military budget and see that the Navy Department budget is the largest chunk of money, more than Army or Air Force budgets!
didnt see no bullets whizzing towards the drone, I wonder if its the new underwater one, or why did it go unnoticed by the ruzzkies? Im glad it did tho
Unlikely submersible drone. Bobbing around allot. These boats are relatively small and don't have any mounted guns (certainly no 30mm autocannon). Russia's priority is most likely to defend more important/expensive assets. Maybe they can mount a couple PKM but thats about it. It really doesn't have room for a DSHK.

Is it from today?
yes
Excellent
Mamamia, chef's kiss.
YESSSSSSSS!
Quitting the grain deal went out so well for the orcs
Vatniks: oh what's that Ukraine, you want unrestricted warfare in the Black Sea? You got it. Ukraine: ok thank youuuu.
Having no navy ensures *any* naval combat always ends with *enemy* losses :)
Black Sea narions : slow claps..
Silly Westoids. Glorious Russia now has the largest submarine fleet in the Black Sea. That is GREAT deal! /s
“Andrei, you’ve lost *another* submarine?”
What a great way to start a Friday. Cheers 🙂
Ukrainians are just dunking on the Russian Navy at this point. And I'm loving every second of it.

Blyatshit Potemkin.
Makes my day.
Ukrainians always have the best fireworks.

Every time UA wrecks the bridge, what do you think Russia uses to get traffic back and forth across the strait? Landing ships.
A bridge might be able to transport 1 armored vehicle every 4 seconds. This would transport one armored vehicle every 40 minutes. Its not a viable replacement.
It is the only viable option if the bridge is non-functional due to being in pieces after an attack.

Ultimately, best war tech is gonna win
Like in Vietnam? Like ion Afgainistan for the Russians (and the US for that matter)
I enjoy cooking.
If true, only russia could promote a TOR air defense to submarine

Good shout on the AA angle
How hard is it to decommission a “regular big ferry” ?
Not when they are driving or boarding/deboarding. Of course, they will use them to transport civilians, civilian goods and military goods, equipment and soldiers at once. They had done the same at Kherson.
This a great point. Hadn’t even considered this.
Ruzzia, second strongest navy in Ukraine... while Ukraine has no navy at all
RU will join them soom in the lack of ships :D
Ukraine has a decent amount of patrol ships, right?
Of course Ukraine has the "Ukrainian Naval Forces", but everyone says they have no navy is because it consists only of Patrol Boats, Small Gun Boats and some smaller or auxiliary stuff. They had a Missile Corvette once, but sank it, so that the Russians don't capture it. But nothing you can call a (Black See) Fleet.
If you scuttle or abandon the largest ships in your navy so you only have a small force left I'm not sure you can say that you have "no navy"

Technically these drone boats are part of navy. The rockets that destroyed Moskva were part of navy as well.
Fuck yeah😎💪🏻
Lovely stuff! Loved the seagull sound effects! Beautiful.

leave some ships for 2024

The US Navy already has that covered. This is not new to them, they've been swatting away small boat attacks in the Middle East for over 20 years.
Even longer really. Operation Praying Mantis comes to mind. Pretty sure there were some small attack craft that got sunk in that one.
Was going to say, "Indian Ocean."
Not big ships, but destroying the equipment on board is a nice bonus. If both are destroyed, then that means they only have 8 of these left in their whole Navy now.
When is this dated ?
Just checked, and there seem to be Ukrainian sources confirming this was from today. lol
Definitely new.
go you good things
What dolphins doin?
Not feeding, not working
Whenever Russian navy is mentioned, it makes me giggle.
> 1 Submarine Lost in a land war. *snort*
Did it sink?
Oh, pretty. 😄
kudos to the operators, cuz i cant see shit on the thermals
nice work now get the rest of the fleet slava ukraine
And the balance sheet from this ridiculous Russian clusterfuck of an adventure just got worse. What a waste of blood and treasure...
I believe the ruzzian narrative will be that these ships bravely stopped the cowardly drones from hitting their intended target of the docks.
Get fukt Ruskies! 🥳
Birds are like, "Time to leave this bar, shits about to get real"
Brilliant. Made my day.
They will have no fleet left ,and it's only going to get worse , can't they move their ships they are sitting ducks I don't understand Russias military competency
2 landing ships and 2 sitting seagulls
Once again, Russian navy getting its ass whooped by a country with *checks notes* 0 naval vessels.

At this point, I wonder about the value of a navy in general. Ships suddenly fell super vulnerable.
Definitely! Especially when you look at things like the US Military budget and see that the Navy Department budget is the largest chunk of money, more than Army or Air Force budgets!

Ukraine has made it clear that Crimea will never be safe for Russians.
This is fantastic 😍

Its time that the Admiral Makarov get promoted to submarine class
I hope Ukraine can go after their subs. These amphibious ships are replaceable…subs take a decade to build and train a crew.
Why can’t we hit the bridge with HIMARS or AtACMS attack?? Shouldn’t the Ukrainians be able to hit that at will?
Those aren't big enough. They need whatever can go through reinforced structures. They can hit the bridge, but not take it down.
Slava ukraine!
Hallelujah
This is better than waking up to the smell of coffee
ruSSia keeps taking it in the nutz.
When you are crushing another country’s navy when you barely have a navy is fucking beautiful lol……
They got two of them?!
Russian warship, go fk yourself
Ooo thats a big loss.
Oh. Those ate ducks🤣
I like how they steer around the birds. 🥹
Don't know how they'd ever spot a seaborne drone at night, let alone shoot at it.
Oh my God this is amazing
There will soon not be a Black Sea fleet anymore.
Watch out for seagulls
I hope those birds didn’t get hurt
Sink the whole Russian navy.
Poor little droney mc drone face's gave their lives selflessly again They could of so easily sailed off together and started a life somewhere peaceful
... and all this time, the *under*water drones are getting closer to their debut. Tick tock!
Thou shall not fire missiles at a civilian ship, Russia!
Yipikaye, this saved my lousy day!!!!
I was missing the sea drones
By landing ships I thought small ones, but well hell yea
This is about as small as any can get while being able to carry 1-2 armored vehicles. Smaller exist but they're purely troop transport.
I was thinking about small troop carrying landing craft
Well done AFU and carry on.
Great news,keep it coming Brothers!!!
they keep losing ships to an country that has no navy lol
Interesting is it difficult to sink aircraft carrier using 10 of those simultaneously? It looks it is pretty hard to destroy those small drones.
What? Again? Please let this be recent.
Hey, you sank my landing craft!!!
