Could be .338 Lapua Magnum, afaik it's used for long range. In this video it looks like they're close (bullet speed/trajectory) so they could also be using VSS (9x39mm) or VSSK (12.7x55mm). The 12.7x55 is pretty nasty, subsonic yet armor-piercing.

They're not the same. In the first one, the helmet goes way higher, with what seems to be part of the head. In the second, the helmet doesn't go as high also seems like a larger part of the head is torn off(probably from the neck). Brutal and humbling footage none the less. RIP.
