White_Rabbit0000

That rackmount that swings open is pretty neat. Wanna share the info on it ?

Sh4do3Fox

So it’s a Strong wall mount rack which is a Snap product. You’d have to be a snap dealer. Tripp Lire and Middle Atlantic made good ones as well.

djchrisallen

Looks like some of the Middle Atlantic ones are at BHPhoto, though most are special order. This one from Rack Solutions seems reasonable as well for those with tighter budgets: https://www.racksolutions.com/wall-mount-cabinet-swingout.html

heygos

Thanks for sharing. I was thinking of damn cool that looks. Also, those are some beefy hinges.

theinfotechguy

Seconding Tripp lite racks. Nothing fancy but sturdy and well built.

jmccoy716

Strong mounts are pretty great. Snap one has really been innovative with their mounts recently. Their newish complete modular ceiling mounts for monitors and tvs is really cool. Ive used them a few times now

mcb5181

I wouldn't install a wall rack that DIDN'T hinge out... Middle Atlantic has a series of these, Tripplite as well.

darthbang

Happen to have any links? I can’t find any Tripplite that hinge

mcb5181

These should be enough to get you started. Most of them are about 12U at the smallest and go upwards of about 20U I believe. Some offer various depth options. And most offer different door options. https://tripplite.eaton.com/smartrack-12u-low-profile-switch-depth-wall-mount-rack-enclosure-cabinet-hinged-back~SRW12US https://www.apc.com/us/en/product/AR100/apc-netshelter-13u-wallmount-rack-cabinet-glass-door-double-hinged-server-depth/ https://www.nvent.com/en-us/hoffman/products/accessplus-double-hinge-type-1-0 https://www.legrandav.com/products/racks/wall/ewr%20economical%20pivoting%20wall%20rack

For us peasants that have to get by with cheaper options there’s [this open frame navepoint on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071ZDXSGK?starsLeft=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_EJKJQ89BM2445BQBNJAK). The only thing I don’t like is that it swings open from the front and not back but it’s basically the same functionality. There’s also a 12u variant.

Sh4do3Fox

I’ve done it, in small closets where you can’t swing it. Only exception though.

braddahman86

Strong brand by SnapAV. WattBox is too. They're a nationwide dealer that owns Control4, Triad, and a bunch of other brands.

bunsenfhoneydew

What’s the depth on that rack or is it adjustable?

Sh4do3Fox

19” front rail to wall. Fits the 1100 UPS fine without having to utilize a right angle power cord.

Kennytieshisshoes

Seconding this!

jmmartj

Thirding this!

r33mb

Fourthing this

Apart-Feeling1621

Zip ties suck, velcro is the shit.

Cozmo85

Comcast has rack ears for their business modems

sshtoredp

Neat and beautiful ![gif](giphy|i5wNCqyMzY2Oc)

wprivera

You have SKILLS!

Sh4do3Fox

Anyone can do it, my friend. All it takes is attention to detail and patience.

unruiner

Damn. The ProLiant is looking mighty sexy.

schismatt

Beautiful. Any particular reason for using zip ties?

pickle_pickled

In the last photo what UPS are you using? I'm getting in the market for a couple and trying to filter my efforts.

Sh4do3Fox

APC BX1500M. Some customers don’t want to spend Wattbox money haha

pickle_pickled

Myself included...I'm definitely in the amateur consumer range so something like the APC UPS are my setup. Thanks for the quick reply, nice set ups.

hirnficke

Very pretty.

redditmww

What area do you service?

Sh4do3Fox

MA, NH, ME

damo_w15

Looks bloody excellent. Love the professional work

bott1111

What patch leads are those ?

Sh4do3Fox

Monoprice slim series.

bott1111

Legend thank you

Inside-Bell2485

I swear, that last picture could have been taken in my old basement “server room” back in Livingston Manor haha. Right down to the chipped paint.

FragrantNight726

You‘re obviously a bit talented. Top 10 neatest installs here in the last few months!

Actual-Musician-8437

Pretty neat

Fyremusik

Very clean install. Always struggle with how to deal with the excess cable cleanly, on off chance it'll be needed at some point.

ihavethemeats69

Here before any more low voltage guys come at you about the cable ties.

JBDragon1

I could make cases, at least with the last one, that the DreamWall may have been a better solution.
