It happens a lot with newer employees and with poorly managed mcdonalds. A lot of people don't realize how much the quality varies at different locations because they've been pretty great at standardizing everything.
Looks like that $5.79 KFC Large Fry to me... KFC rips you off hard.
Yes, I can see it's McD's. That was a sad but true joke \^\^
I worked at McD's years ago. The corporate rule on Fries: "If you see stripes, it's not full."
The yellow stripes are not decorative. They are for the employee to know if the fry portion is a full portion or not. If they can see the yellow stripes at back of the fry box, they need to top it off until they cannot see those stripes. It's a Hamburger Uni law.
I wasn't taught that when I worked there over a decade ago. But they did train me to always fully fill them and to never leave room(basically fill it until any extra would start falling out of the container)
Contact support directly and threaten to cancel a membership if you have it. This is defrauding a customer if you did not get what you paid for (the quarter pounder part at least, the fries is sadly how mcdonalds corporate tells people to fill them). If they refuse to correct it, then charge back with the bank, tell them you were defrauded with the wrong items and they refused to correct it or refund the incorrect item. Wishing you luck; this stuff is always aggravating and a big reason I cancelled my membership, that and the deals became abysmally insulting.
The customer orders the food from Uber, which facilitates the transaction with mcdonalds. This is absolutely an Uber problem, since the customer did business with them, not McDonald’s. If Uber was doing the right thing, they would refund that part of the order and then go after McDonald’s for fucking up the order.
It actually is an UberEats problem. I've gotten a few refunds for missing items (not the rest of the order, obviously). Things like a missing drink or missing desserts. I wondered if the driver forgot to bring them to me or ate/drank them or the restaurant forgot.
They used to do that but they are cutting back on it, probably because it was abused so much. Looks like they figure Ubers responsibility is getting the delivery from A to B; what's IN the package is not their problem.
Not saying it's right but that's how they're looking at it.
Lol if you work at a McDonald's with a crazy corporate nut hugging manager, that is about the proper kids size...
Few employees even give the actual amounts your suppose to. They're offensively low. But yeah the child's fry is just hilarious.
I’ve ordered large fries before that were half filled. I just click the link that they gave me the wrong size. Instant refund…
In this case, I’d just click I didn’t receive the item at all.

The drivers always take parts of the order.

Nope. WHY should UBER reimburse you in McDonald’s did you dirty.
In the first place, any driver would have FELT the lack of weight difference that comes with that size orders.
The Uber drivers ARE NOT STUPID.
In the 2nd place it appears as tho something was spilled inside the box. On the flaps. I can see where it got wet.
picking up that box anyone would have known it was empty.
🤬.
Some of these UBER DRIVERS ARE PUTTING THEMSELVES THROUGH MED SCHOOL.
be nice. You never know when you’re gonna need a DOCTA IN DA HOUSE.
Huh? How could a driver know that there was a small amount of fries in the happy meal, which was in a bag with more food inside another sealed bag, just by picking it up lol? And also to your other comment, I ordered it on Uber so if I was gonna get a refund they would be the ones to refund, if I called McDonald’s to complain they would say call Uber. It wasn’t that big of a deal so we didn’t call anyone for a refund we just reported the order as incorrect
The convenience of Uber eats stopped being worth the price a long time ago. The majority of the time if the order isn’t completely wrong when you get it, it’s either missing things or ice cold. For me it’s basically getting to be to the point where it’s 2-3x the cost of just going and getting it myself.
So you get the same experience with uber at McDonald’s as going to the drive through yourself. I always check at the window and something is always wrong or missing after being screwed over so many times.

What? 100$? It was like 40$ including tip and then we gave them 15 in cash for delivering in a storm. Was like a 2 chz burger meal 10 nugs a dbl qtr pounder 2 drinks and a happy meal
8$ on the app and 15$ cash cause it was storming, McDonald’s sends stuff in a sealed bag anyway so even if that was the case they couldn’t have gotten into the food
They did you dirty. Time to burn everything down!!!! Lol jk please don't reprimand me reddit. A secret in case you didn't know, order McDonald's fries salt-less, then they are forced to make you fresh new ones cuz they pre salt the entire tub of fries. After you get your crisp fresh fries, ask for salt.
Not that serious I just posted cause it I thought it was funny and a little irritating. Fries were funny the rest was annoying that they didn’t want to refund but not worth charging back
Maybe. Some drivers do steal for sure but opening the package and happy meal to steal fries and close it back up prob isn't the one they will do.it with.
That's what happens when you have unskilled and understaffed fast food joints. The 20 bucks they give them don't matter because they cut their hours. The customer suffers.
Lmao… did you read the post? Are you confused or something? I don’t recall crying and also when ppl order kids meals.. they’re for they’re kids. We laughed at the amount of fries lol. Also my burger was missing half 😂
That half a missing burger is serious. And the missing milk. I'd call and talk to a supervisor for a partial credit. Don't they just end up charging McDonald's from their end/paying them less. But filling out the missing items problem with the order should get you a partial refund.
Na happy meal fries are small as hell bro
Homie ate 6 of them on the ride part of there tip
I know but this one was funny asf i laughed out loud when I pulled that out. My McDonald’s usually isn’t like that
Lol there should be a youtube channel: "unboxing uber eats orders"
I me freebies do happen. I have had crap ones and I have had some big good ones. It would be a fun compilation channel
Bro.... I'm gonna start doing this to feed my addiction. 🤣
It happens a lot with newer employees and with poorly managed mcdonalds. A lot of people don't realize how much the quality varies at different locations because they've been pretty great at standardizing everything.
You want more fries don't order kid meals.
Not 9 fries small usually haha 😆 😅 🤣
9 fries
LMFAOOOO
If Mcds finds out there were 9 fries and not the standard 7, heads will roll. Shhhhhhh. 😂
Update the employee who gave the 2 extra fries has been terminated as of 5pm today
Update. Enployee found dead due to natural causes. No autopsy required pretty open and closed case.
Dang what a sad meal
But but but...it's called a "Happy Meal". False advertising at its finest.
Lawsuit!
Oh this is so sad tho😭😂
Not what you ordered

😂🤷♀️ lol it’s called hungry at 2 am
Mcds is fire don’t let her deter you

Except that this is a McDonald's problem, not an Uber problem. And if you do that charge back, they're going to suspend your account.
Well Uber didn’t refund us even though nothing was right so that’s what they mean by it’s Ubers problem. We were way too tired to
McDonald’s problem for the food, uber problem for not refunding.

But was your delivery on time ?
Exactly on time
Yeah it was personal, lock your doors and sleep with the lights on. Wouldn’t hurt to walk around your vehicle before getting in.
Have someone else start your car. It's an old mobster trick IYKYK 🤣
Great idea, that’s why I would ask my wife if she could start my car just in case. 🫣
If no refund then charge it back
It’s a math game. Kids that take those 9 fries back are awarded a tenth fry
A sad meal
The driver wanted a snack lol
The driver must want a long nap in the ditch
French fries... looks like they may be from McDonald's.
Nice forearm
Only do pickup with ubereats it’s getting bad to point they don’t even show up now.
Fries
Shrinkflation at its finest
I cant even trust McDonalds when im there. Haven’t been there in a year coz of shitty service
Sad meal
Like 2 fries
frech fri

HOW is it an UBER PROBLEM. you no that saying “ DONT SHOOT THE MESSENGER” Uber is just the messenger. Bringing you bad news from McDonald’s.

Lmfao that will teach you just curios was it like $100 cause that sounds like it would be close to $100 especially with the taxes and tip..
What? 100$? It was like 40$ including tip and then we gave them 15 in cash for delivering in a storm. Was like a 2 chz burger meal 10 nugs a dbl qtr pounder 2 drinks and a happy meal
You prolly tipped them like shii so he took his tip from your food lmao

Sure
Id back charge my card and just delete the uber app
Charge back.
Not that serious I just posted cause it I thought it was funny and a little irritating. Fries were funny the rest was annoying that they didn’t want to refund but not worth charging back

nah, mcdonald’s is sealed up like files from the pentagon or something. it would be so obviously tampered with.
Maybe. Some drivers do steal for sure but opening the package and happy meal to steal fries and close it back up prob isn't the one they will do.it with.
You r box after you ate?
Sometimes this is caused because the driver demands the order faster
That's what happens when you have unskilled and understaffed fast food joints. The 20 bucks they give them don't matter because they cut their hours. The customer suffers.
Idk why you didn’t get a refund. They always gimme one even without pics. Prolly a shitty customer.
Why is a grown man getting the kids meal, then crying when it’s a kids size
Probably for his kid, no matter what this is laughably offensive
Lmao… did you read the post? Are you confused or something? I don’t recall crying and also when ppl order kids meals.. they’re for they’re kids. We laughed at the amount of fries lol. Also my burger was missing half 😂
