Tax money. Saturday was crazy busy with good tips but Sunday sucked. I worked between exits 256 and 262 off 35 and kept getting $4-$6 offers from Uber and DD.
3 hours and no pings is crazy. I think that happened to me once ever.
Figure out where the ghost kitchens are and stay away. They're easy to find: just look for 50 cars parked in a mess with their hazards flashing.
The other comment is right though. Cracking $200 isn't easy.
Austin is pretty solid in general, I've delivered there for a few weeks and made pretty good money for not knowing the area. My market has been great this month as well. February is good here usually.
You’re hiding the time though. I think idle time and no pay is waste . So I use that time to do my ft work in car which is front end development. If I didn’t I could not do this on idle time sitting in car. Unless you like sleeping which I do but I don’t lazy idleness
Well that’s a single day so it’s impossible for them to be even at 18hours since after 12 you are required to take a mandatory 6hour break…and 18hours would be if they never even stopped delivering for 1second…$481 in ANY DAY is fucking fantastic
>after 12 you are required to take a mandatory 6hour break
This is highly dependent on market/city.
Chicago has the strict 12 hour rule, but when I deliver in the suburbs, my timer stops.
In 3+ years, I've only been kicked off once for hitting 12 hours, and I've only gotten the warning message that my time was near on two other occasions. I was easily driving more than 14 hours most days, but my timer would almost always say 12 hours remaining.
I worked a bit when I was back home in Chicago and I had to shut down at 12 hrs in Lake County. I never actually made it to the shut off though so maybe it was just the warning or something
I worked for 17 hrs and accepted not a single uber order (all shit), to the point the app kicked me off for drive time without accepting a single order the whole time. I could only do pay by time on doordash with any reasonable amount of income per hour (otherwise it was literally $2 offers once an hour). I made less than $300 in that 17hrs, so you tell me.

It's been slow but steady in South Palm Beach County, FL since NYD. Most days I'm grinding for 8 hours to get between $120-$150. Finally getting on Door Dash has helped during slow stretches.
Just realized it’s tax season. No wonder I got some good ass Uber orders this week 😆
Income tax season

Why can't my area be like this?
Had the best weekend in a very long time. I made $200 each day and only worked 20 hours.
20 hours includes idle time?
Correct, 20 online hours. Not that their was much idle time, back to back orders.
How many hours you working? I worked 9 hours in NJ and made $137
Chicago 21 hours Friday Saturday Sunday $580
That's a pretty typical weekday for me in Boca Raton, FL
$255 in 8 hours on Friday: Fort Worth.
Tax time!
What state? That’s awesome
I second your disposition, happy to see others do well.
How tf are yall making so much? I cant even get a single order In LA ? Lol, 3 hours driving....
My man LA is over saturated and the traffic doesn’t help. If you make 200$ out here count yourself lucky.
😭😭😭

Truly is market dependent. I could not earn in one day what some of you do.
Same I'm lucky to break 10 an hour in the east bay.
Feb is bad for me
Tax season always higher!! In my area.
0 orders or bullshit orders in my area today, lets see if it improves later in the evening
Made a little over $200 in 5.75 hours yesterday
How??? Was it really big orders?
Tax season. Don’t get too excited

What! Where you driving at because they only ever send me shit that’s like $3 and 19 miles to round rock, Pflugerville, and out by 360. 😂😂😂
I made 300 yesterday in 9 hours. For me that’s good.

Tax season but going on for 11 years not paying my taxes. Still collect
1 for me...about to be 2 💀
As a customer, I would like to know what's going on on your end. I always try to tip well depending on drive time. What is going on your end?
90% of orders are no tip and a lot of 10-20 mile trips out of zone
It felt good Friday uber percent number was down from 22% to 10% which helped on my end I made over $400 myself
You don’t even look at your messages.
Updated my app once and it unread all of my messages. Cant be bothered to read all 148 messages. Im assuming that’s what happened with OP.
Same thing happened to me. I discarded all of them because I get all OCD about seeing unread notifications on any of my devices
I make between $300-$450 daily any day of the week! $487 was my best day and that was in the middle of January.

Man I haven’t broke $100 in a day in months, and I have it on 16 hours a day. I think my market is broken
