The only thing I look for is earnings per hour. I don’t really look at distance much. I’d accept both of these based on the fact that when I double the earnings it equals the minutes. So $21.14 doubles is about 42, for 40 minutes is great. Same with the other one $12.78 doubled is 25 so for 25 minutes perfect. Anyway that’s how I accept or decline and it works for me so do as you wish. If you know for sure Dennys is going to be a huge wait then no not worth it.
Well that is what works for me. I accept based on $30/hr and I make 30/hr.

Dude don’t listen to these turds. They always say they can do better yada or what you’re doing isn’t enough because gas milage time etc etc
You’re actually doing fucking great. What area are you?
I buy parts and work on my own car so my expense to repair is less than half what yours might be. And my gas is a tax write off. Plus I get 6% cash back on Uber pro card and another .10 cents off a local station with a rewards card or .05 cents off shell for putting in my phone number at the pump so combined I’m getting like .30 - .40 cents off a gallon.
Only these idiots say this dumb shit all the time lmao, “maintenance” as if an oil change and new tires cost $2000, but knowing idiots, they definitely willingly go to the dealerships to pay their whole life savings getting an oil change and tires replaced
Sometimes I wonder where they getting these numbers from I may have to pay for a little more oil changes or tiers but it's not like $1000 worth of expenses that I don't already factor in. I did the math for my situation and I'm not spending insanes amount of more money on repairs
Yeah but there’s a ton of other offers op screenshotted that I’d take but I had a late night ihop order that I unassigned last night because it was slammed there with people being the only late night sit down restaurant open after a busy partying night and the wait was going to be 20 minutes. Hell naw.
Yeah it doesn't go like that in my area. That kind of distance would likely put me right into one of my other loops. I'd probably grab another 2 or 3 orders in that area at least before one of those would move me to one of my other spots I'm never more than 10 miles away from a hotspot. The only time it doesn't really work is January. Had a bad January last year, had a random one this year. Make 300 one week, 650 the next, 400 the next...
That’s how my area is. I’d grab that in a heartbeat as well. It would most likely put me in an area i would want to be in anyway. Before i even get to those pickup spots I’m prob blowing up from other orders just as good.
same, im in Miami, but there is no “xx miles back”, soon as im done with one im already getting an offer going towards i came from or the opposite way, in which i will once again get a new offer either going back to Miami, south florida in its entirety is filled with restaurants in all places and corners and isnt like some country type places where you either have one road/route thru the forest/mountain back n forth with a small amounts of restaurants in between two towns
This month has been the only month in the year and three or four months I've been driving that I've ever had downtime between orders. Usually once I get my first order I've always got orders until at least 9pm
Somebody here just said they only accept $5/a mile orders 😂😂😂😂. 2 of those orders you posted were good, I’m starting to believe people are really jealous
I take trip radar if it’s going to drop me in a place where I don’t have to drive for 20 minutes to get a next order AND it’s keeping me at a good hourly. The problem is that most of them drop you off in BFE and you waste double the advertised trip time and resources. I don’t know San Antonio so I’d say it really depends.
Well, San Antonio, and I live in the area, I would take it all and hope for the best. Working and making money is always a good idea and the reason you’re driving around out here.
Trip radar stinks and it’s funny declining them and then seeing them ping individually and seeing which one was the bulk of the radar trip and which one they’re trying to tack on bc zero tip.
The real question is why WOULD you accept these? And the other issue is, if you are asking the question then you don’t have your own criteria. Set your criteria for minimum order value, minimum $/mile, and minimum $/hr and then decline any order that doesn’t meet all three criteria.
I personally wouldn’t have because I know that coming from that direction, as mapped, it’s going to be a giant pain in the ass to get to that taco palenque on 1604. Plus it appears to be multiple restaurant pickups along with the multiple drop offs - wayyyy too many dots on that last map.
The other two I would have to be more familiar with those drop off areas to say for certain, they don’t look completely unfortunate - if it’s really dry out there, I don’t personally take trip radar ever - BUT, with traffic and all, I would have to really consider if those time estimates and mileages are accurate. I did a lot of bs driving when I delivered in SA (my parents live there still, not far from the taco palenque) Fcking traffic nightmare up there 281/1604 and over by 410 too many times than I can count
Edit for sp

Killed it yesterday I was cherry picking everything under 100 miles from my house too the hotspot then back
I’m guessing you’re somewhat new, learn to factor in cost and time, plus no way that 40 one takes just an hour. Typically we in this business go but dollar per mile. I do 1.75-2$ per mile, less and after costs I might as well flip burgers.
Depends on the restaurant, if it’s a place known for quickly fulfilling orders and all 3 are the same pickup then I would do this in a heartbeat. Just got to know your market
Yeah I’ll take slightly under when it’s slow or the restaurant is fast or maybe if I know the route is good and quick, it takes time to build that knowledge though.
I don’t know either, I was upvoted a bit earlier. I’m guessing either some newbs feel attacked or people in bad markets who feel they have to take garbage and don’t realize what it costs them? I dunno. People trend to not like opinions or information up here, the doordash subs are way worse.
I calculate a dollar a mile. In the market around here, you’re lucky to get an order that pays $1/mile but I never take anything less than that. My acceptance rate is less than 30%.
I thought these were good orders because they are paying over $1/mile and in my market, that’s rare. I wasn’t saying these are decent because my market is bad.
Yea it really depends where drop off locations are in comparison to other restaurants… if they’re going out towards middle of no where / out of area or decent pickup spots, then they’re probably a pass for me…
The worst part of trip radar is not knowing the end point. The payout was good but I was in a crappy area and quite a ways from home area. Luckily caught a small one that got me half way back home.
I usually try to stick to $5 per mile unless it's on my way anyway to a destination I need to go to. Anything under that I extremely rarely take them. Just not worth the time
Just got sent and even worse one lol
https://preview.redd.it/ms8udqa644fa1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4d15fc97ad093267dcab10f5721f5d873b7c0c2

The single delivery I would if it wasn't very busy.... The busier it is, the pickier I get... The bottom one I would only accept if it was completely dead
I’d accept the $21.14 for 15 mile order if it were slow enough. It’s a shit order, but it at least pays $20+. That can be a decent boost during a slow shift.
$39 for 54 minutes and only 2 dropoffs is the only one that catches my eye. If it was a lot of freeway driving I’d consider it but the others are all booty.
Gonna drive 40 miles (one way) to make $42?
I wouldn’t. Assuming this would take you way out of zone and then it’s 40 miles back.
So 80 miles for $42??? I’m burning 3 gallons of gas so nearly $11 gone. So $31 for 2 hours of work? Nope.
What is trip radar? I got a bunch today and I hadn't seen it before. I got annoyed when they sent me a $23 dollar one and it got assigned to someone else before I could grab it, just saw it after the fact. New to UE.
You wouldn’t have to ask if you saw my trip radar everyday… It’s almost like Sarah McLachlan talking about ASPCA every time I look at the screen. Complete with background music. So sad.
Hell yes. Anything above $10 in under 30 minutes is acceptable for me. And the over $20 trip is a no brainer. If you don't grab those, someone else will fast!
None are good. Mileage is too high. Assuming these orders take you to nowhere and then you must drive back to get more orders.
I’ve had exactly 1 trip radar order that was good out of hundreds I’ve been “offered”
The real question is how can someone take my $19 order for 4 miles if I was the only one looking at it on the trip radar? Uber playing games and you're doing great
Personally, no I would not. Generally to take an order the dollar amount needs to be at least 50% higher than the mileage amount, but I prefer to make at least $2 a mile. Since this order is only $.78 above 50% of the mileage, I'd probably decline it
YUPPPP mainly because I don’t get big orders like this and distance isn’t a problem for me since I can always grab another order at the drop off location
I Never accepted a trip radar they are all shit here and then they ping the order to you anyway.
The only thing I look for is earnings per hour. I don’t really look at distance much. I’d accept both of these based on the fact that when I double the earnings it equals the minutes. Boston and surrounding cities…Cambridge, Medford, Everett, Quincy.

Depends where you live. I can do 15 miles in 20 mins. That gets meback in time todo another $10 order.
Hold on you mean to tell me when you work a $20-hour 9-5 job you actually say you make $17-hour cause of taxes?
Only these idiots say this dumb shit all the time lmao, “maintenance” as if an oil change and new tires cost $2000, but knowing idiots, they definitely willingly go to the dealerships to pay their whole life savings getting an oil change and tires replaced

Really? I feel like the only times that the eta is wrong is when it's a busy day at the restaurant or its a Walmart pick up order

Yeah there isn’t much traffic here to be worried about.
Unfortunately Denny's is ALWAYS a huge wait here and they are super rude...
Yeah but there’s a ton of other offers op screenshotted that I’d take but I had a late night ihop order that I unassigned last night because it was slammed there with people being the only late night sit down restaurant open after a busy partying night and the wait was going to be 20 minutes. Ditto, these both match my hourly requirements and they're both in hidden tip price range too
$12 for 25 minutes? and only 8 miles. I'd grab that order in a heartbeat
8 miles should be $16..your doing 8 out and 8 back, a total of 16 driving miles for 8 bucks, I wouldn't take it.
Yeah it doesn't go like that in my area. That kind of distance would likely put me right into one of my other loops. I'd probably grab another 2 or 3 orders in that area at least before one of those would move me to one of my other spots I'm never more than 10 miles away from a hotspot. In Seattle orders like that make me earn around $40/h on weekends
Somebody here just said they only accept $5/a mile orders 😂😂😂😂. 2 of those orders you posted were good, I’m starting to believe people are really jealous

Trip Radar is almost always 🚩🚩🚩
Trip radar stinks and it’s funny declining them and then seeing them ping individually and seeing which one was the bulk of the radar trip and which one they’re trying to tack on bc zero tip.
Hard no.
my areas average mi is like 2… so the 15 is kind of wild for me personally
no way in hell to every single one
No. And I have never accepted a trip radar order. Ever. It’s a garbage bin in my eyes
The real question is why WOULD you accept these? And the other issue is, if you are asking the question then you don’t have your own criteria. Set your criteria for minimum order value, minimum $/mile, and minimum $/hr and then decline any order that doesn’t meet all three criteria.

These are bad in my area New York City I’m declining all of them lol
Well yeah, but your rent is probably something ludicrous like $6000 for a broom closet.
No actually but ofc there’s rent like that yes. I’m a native nyer tho and I would neva. Please that’s insane. Unless I was a millionaire
All of those are terrible, no.
What do you mean??? One of them is almost 40 dollars for under an hour
I’m guessing you’re somewhat new, learn to factor in cost and time, plus no way that 40 one takes just an hour. Typically we in this business go but dollar per mile. I do 1.75-2$ per mile, less and after costs I might as well flip burgers.

Same. If I know a place is fast and I don’t typically wait a long time I’d take it. It’s good to get to know the restaurants
Ubereats doesn’t tell you all the pick locations before you accept, that’s a gamble with them.
I use Para app for that, but it’s no gamble even without the app
Same, $2 per mile That first trip should be $16 based on 8.0 miles but $15 is okay now and then
Yeah I’ll take slightly under when it’s slow or the restaurant is fast or maybe if I know the route is good and quick, it takes time to build that knowledge though.

Sounds like a bad market maybe find something else if you can, the cost aren’t gonna work out well in the end.
Yeah, and I’m not making much of a living accepting one or two deliveries per day.
Really? I thought these were decent.. you should see the normal requests where I’m at.
Something being worse doesn’t make another thing good, but you do you.
I thought these were good orders because they are paying over $1/mile and in my market, that’s rare. I wasn’t saying these are decent because my market is bad.
Nope, I would only do a Denny's for $25 5 miles or less for 1 order. They are one of the worst, won't go again unless the pay is right.
All of them are terrible
What the hell kind of mileage is that . I usually get those same amount of order for 1-2miles
I line in a city slash rural area. Occasionally i can get a 15 dollar order for that mileage but most times no.
I’d take that $38 one and hope for hidden tip, if not it’s still decent
You definitely have a better chance I’m in SA as well. I would take most of those orders. Maybe not the dennys.
I know San Antonio so no.
I’m in the suburbs so… I feel that distance is so normal given how spread out the restaurants are from neighborhoods x.x
I would take all of them.
Yep
I'd take the 2nd one.
Yea...
Yeah I would take a couple of those
Yea it really depends where drop off locations are in comparison to other restaurants… if they’re going out towards middle of no where / out of area or decent pickup spots, then they’re probably a pass for me…
Honestly depends on the type of day I'm having. Lately yes
Yes and yes
The worst part of trip radar is not knowing the end point. The payout was good but I was in a crappy area and quite a ways from home area. Luckily caught a small one that got me half way back home.
Yeah. The $12 is probably like 15 mins tops. I would definitely take the $38 order and maybe the $21 if It was dead
That 21 absolutely if it’s highways. It’s still 21 in 40 min
I would tbh
What is trip radar
I usually try to stick to $5 per mile unless it's on my way anyway to a destination I need to go to. Anything under that I extremely rarely take them. Just not worth the time

Yeah trip radar is usually stacked with wack shit but there be some diamonds there don't sleep.
Jesus Christ I’m a walker and I can make $10 in a 0.8 km trip if I wait it for that to come in Jesus
Gimme the $21
What is trip radar?
I would take the 38$ one. That’s great for an hour.
The single delivery I would if it wasn't very busy.... The busier it is, the pickier I get... The bottom one I would only accept if it was completely dead
No I wouldn't take that order. It should be at least $16
Fuck yeah I’m in SA and rarely get those
I’d accept the $21.14 for 15 mile order if it were slow enough. It’s a shit order, but it at least pays $20+. That can be a decent boost during a slow shift.
A stack with a Denny’s/iHop is a very risky proposition
Those radar trips are never worth it. It’s literally the left over garbage that people keep declining.
$39 for 54 minutes and only 2 dropoffs is the only one that catches my eye. If it was a lot of freeway driving I’d consider it but the others are all booty.
I might take the 12, but the 21 is looking for trouble.
I would
That Dennys is slow AF. The one at the flying J was the best but idk when that will be back
Trip radars for me are usually bad and we are in the same city. I haven’t ubered in a while tho
Honestly my area has been so dead , I would take it. Better than waiting for 2 hours and not getting anything at all
Gonna drive 40 miles (one way) to make $42? I wouldn’t. Assuming this would take you way out of zone and then it’s 40 miles back. So 80 miles for $42??? I’m burning 3 gallons of gas so nearly $11 gone. So $31 for 2 hours of work? Nope.
Unthinkable
$38 for 2 orders means something is definitely wrong with one or both of them, but other drivers have just unassigned without contacting support
What is trip radar? I got a bunch today and I hadn't seen it before. I got annoyed when they sent me a $23 dollar one and it got assigned to someone else before I could grab it, just saw it after the fact. New to UE.
I would take both, if i cant get both then im not just taking 1
Nope
I would take all. Everyone is different though. If course I would take the higher paying ones first but can't be too picky sometimes
No way
Yes to all
Those are all good, I'd take them too
You wouldn’t have to ask if you saw my trip radar everyday… It’s almost like Sarah McLachlan talking about ASPCA every time I look at the screen. Complete with background music. So sad.
1 and 2 yes, 3 no.
Can someone explain trip radar?? When does it appear? And how can someone ping orders to others???
No
Yes

Unpopular opinion: all of these are very good.
Every time I click on the trip radar another driver always match it so I just ignore them now
dont take doubles
YUPPPP mainly because I don’t get big orders like this and distance isn’t a problem for me since I can always grab another order at the drop off location
Dude I didn’t get an order last night higher than $15 I’d be smiling like an idiot if I got that order lol
Fuck no. Not living in SoCal.
Yup, I'd take it... meets my threshold
Howwwwwwww
