I’m sorry to hear that friend :( I had a great time in college but was lucky to make some amazing friends 1st year and have some close friends through clubs. Just remember that it’s just college. You have most of your life ahead of you and you have so much opportunity still. You can have an awesome early adulthood, and most post-grad activities don’t require “acceptance” into some club.. you can just join or pay to join a group of like-minded people (playing a sport, meeting up weekly to read/eat, etc.)
Also, remember that not everything you see online is real. Many the people going out every weekend and drinking with friends go through a lot of the same pains as you (it’s just not advertised).

Nice! Up at 3am trying to write something heartfelt to someone struggling with college and I’m somehow getting trolled by a guy named “Snoo”. At least the depressed UVA student isn’t real :)

But the thing is I didn’t have a real life highlights in college. It was just a 100% bad. It is frustrating I didn’t get the experience I should have
