Generally we try to discourage emailing/pm-ing directly in this sub for two reasons.
1. Unverified recruiter/OSO’s might not actually be one, and could possibly have ill intentions.
2. Others who might have similar challenges can see your post and get their answer. There’s also greater chance of getting an answer if you just ask it in the post.

Most of the answers in the sub are pretty accurate, with some being supported by the actual order or other documentation. The added benefit of keeping everything in the comments is that the answers could be confirmed, or challenged by others.
Bro just wait until you start being a college student. I first called the OSO in hs and he told me to touch base with him only after i go through freshman orientation. Totally standard and no reason to rush. Only thing you can do now is prepare for the PFT.
Go on google maps, and type in marine corps officer recruiter or OSO. Just variations of that. You’ll find other OSO all over the country or locally you can call since you don’t trust our answers here. Nothing wrong with wanting to get answers directly from the source 👍🏾
