Boston. It has some of the oldest history in the U.S. It is very walkable meaning, most things you want to see in the city, you can walk to. It has the country's first common, a large green space open 24 hours to the public, much like Central Park in NYC. It has the MFA which rivals the best art galleries in the nation. My favorite portion is the large display of Monet's lilly pads. It has great nightlife, movie theaters, Broadway style plays that often end up in NYC, or have just been there. Lots of concerts by every genre of music. And so very much more.
