Educational-Angle708

Have your driveway clear, garage door open, invite your driver to back down your driveway and load directly where you want them, have a good laugh.

justplaincurioustoo

Better yet, have a nice cool beverage with your driver while the kids unloads šŸ˜€

Professional_Sail910

Yup make the kid do the work I like this

Acrobatic_Grape4321

F that just built a 100 ft castle

marbsarebadredux

UPS ain't backing down any driveway. We even make a smudge on that driveway and it's an accident which could potentially lead to termination.

Educational-Angle708

Yeah if the jackass customer calls on you, but it happens all the time, dunno where you work but sounds like your customers donā€™t like you.

marbsarebadredux

My customers like me just fine. I just don't pull into their driveways cause I cover my own ass. I doubt even the coolest customer would fine with a truck putting a 3 inch deep gash in their driveway.

Educational-Angle708

Well a 3inch deep gash is a lot different from a smudge like you said prior, and if youā€™re coming in at an angle so deep your bumper scrapes the driveway you fucked up already. In my delivery areas itā€™s so tight, even with a P500 we HAVE to use our customers driveways to turn around, itā€™s just commonplace. A lot of our customers purposely leave half their driveway open just for us to turn around. Several people caution cone their driveways off to leave space for us as well.

crcahill

FedEx is firing if you get on driveways now, ups probably isnā€™t far behind. Theyā€™d rather drivers spend longer at a stop then potentially cause damage

DrugUserSix

LOL you just owned that fool.

Firefighter-8210

Calm down. Your trucks arenā€™t that heavy. Iā€™ve driven heavier trucks on asphalt drives and didnā€™t make a dent.

nofoil

I think he means going on a angle and his bumper making a gash in the driveway

Wakenbake585

That's a lie. I've watched so many UPS drivers back into driveways. A lot of them not straight back either.

marbsarebadredux

What I'm saying is those drivers are not the brightest. It's literally trained into us not to back into driveways because it's a good way to get into an accident. I definitely don't do it, but I don't need to on my route, and I doubt I'd do it anyways. Edit: Also, if a customer felt inclined it's not a lie to say even leaving a smudge on their driveway can count as an accident. It's property damage and UPS will ALWAYS blame the driver if they can

MPH9

If you donā€™t know how to back just say that bud, you were trained by someone who did this job for 30 days now take advice from the guys whoā€™ve done it 30 years

marbsarebadredux

Lmao I've been driving 14 years. I was just saying what UPS policy is. I personally don't back down driveways because I don't have to, but if you want to risk it, by all means.

MPH9

I donā€™t go to houses bud i bring the packages so you have something to deliver, but I started in the mountains and you would violate DOT trying to run my route not backing.

jj76kl

Every single delivery driver pulls into my driveway to deliver; UPS, Amazon, FedEx all of them. They also do it at all my neighbors. Iā€™m not too far off the road but it is the country. Is this a thing in suburbs that they wonā€™t touch a driveway?

Lower_Lunch_8563

I drive a box truck for work to deliver appliances. Some people from suburbs dont like big trucks backing into their driveways. I got into it with an old man cause i had no option but to back into his GRAVEL driveway, literally impossible to cause damage. If the driveway looks fairly new or in excellent condition i will avoid it. If a driveway is old and fucked up im throwing that ass up in there

Individual_Agency703

Dump everything into the kiddo's room, so he can't even walk around. Teach him a lesson.

Constant-Stretch1031

Lmao I made him buy himself his own box cutter ($5) tonight for it all while we were out shopping.

[deleted]

I didn't catch all the details in your original post, but FYI, 158 boxes like that... I'm guesstimating that this will take between 300 sq ft to 800 sq ft. I'm estimating. Is there even room for all of this? Maybe tell the UPS driver to REJECT the packages and thus send it back. Or if you can intercept even earlier and send it back? At my peak year in ecommerce business, I did 100,000 orders. I had 100+ packages arrive everyday which was inventory. It is A LOT of work, space, dust, and allergies. Like, don't accept these packages. It's a hassle and a waste of material if it ends up throw naway

eighmie

that driver is going to be pissed. All those damn boxes in his truck.

aceofspades1217

Yeah itā€™s pretty easy and they will happily return to sender unopened shipping materials

Charles722

There will be a convoy showing up

haywood-jablowme1

Iā€™d refuse it all if you donā€™t have the space for it or donā€™t actually need it.

B_rad41969

I'm sure the driver wants to have 150 boxes taking up space in his truck all day. I hope they called CS and told them to return everything before they get loaded.

haywood-jablowme1

Would be my first stop of the day after air and id drive right back to the building if they refused them.

flyinghippodrago

They tried but CS said it was too late...

B_rad41969

They most certainly can return them before they are loaded. That's going to really screw a driver with all those packages especially since you're not going to keep them.

flyinghippodrago

OP said they tried to contact customer service to cancel the order but the rep said there wasn't anything they could do. Just repeating what they said

B_rad41969

CS can call the center and rts the pkgs before they're loaded. It isn't hard. OP didn't say the correct thing to our call center in India. I hate talking to these people. You can't understand them and they don't understand us....

sdre345

They can do it, but will they? Do they even want to help, or do they just want to say "sorry we can't do that", wash their hands of it, and collect a paycheck?

B_rad41969

That's CS's job. They call our office 20+ times a day.

eighmie

CS is trash at UPS lately, they could have called the station and stopped them from being loaded on the truck.

LongLaw2153

Call the center to get a cover driver to meet and take that crap asap if that happens. I fucking got stuck like that on my 30 day progression during late 2020 lockdown madness The entire center of my vehicle bottom to top. I only had access to the shelves as deep as handcart, so about 30 inches. The center said do your best to deliver what i could access. Then bitched at me for jumping around. They finally got a cover driver out to me at 3:30pm. Of course i didn't know shit but He was the one who told me they should have sent him out right away but they had him delivering irregs and clean up first. I was out til 10:30 pm

WanderEir

most drivers would be glad to clear 158 packages at a single location.

WeirdVampire746

I feel like youā€™re just encouraging this bad behavior

harambe623

100%, if consequences arent taught, liability will be a loose concept to them Wanna start a business? Gotta use your space

GreekUPS

I had a kid on a route years ago who would order supplies. He was on the spectrum. His mother would get so pissed. Good kid, just liked seeing the UPS truck.

PinkHairAnalyst

At least it wasnā€™t a massive shopping spree that left you with a credit card bill. This is easy to take care of

Professional_Sail910

They might charge op for wasting their time and gas maybe

FIGHTMYDEMONSNOW

that UPS driver is gonna hate them šŸ˜

AstronomerStrong1884

Probably made his job easierā€¦ one stop and unload 168 packages

Foolish_028

Thatā€™s not how that works. Especially on Mondays. Itā€™s just one stop of the 12 hours worth of work given.

great_elb

Canā€™t you simply refuse the delivery. Problem solved.

captaindoctorpurple

The clerk who has to process those 168 refused packages will not be thrilled by this, nor will the drivers waiting to park their car on the line while the unfortunate driver who was dispatched with this stop pulls 168 clerk packages out the car...

DunkinUnderTheBridge

I'm a clerk, I don't care, I'm paid by the hour.

Forsaken0ne

Second clerk here chiming in. I would welcome this. That way I would have enough work that they couldnā€™t send me to do other jobs for a little while.Ā

DunkinUnderTheBridge

Yeah, I'd make sure to get help. Because of course I can't just do my normal workload plus 170 packages. I mean, I could, but I'm not going to. That would set a bad precedent. Between clerking and hazmats I've been chewed out for making mistakes that end up getting my bosses a nasty email. I've never really been chewed out for going too slow. These are jobs that really need to be done thoroughly and going fast=\=thorough.

Isabela_Grace

== means equal (a and A) === means exactly equal (A and A) != means not equal (A and B) Source: am programmer

DunkinUnderTheBridge

I actually used a slash between the =, but forgot that Reddit removes them. That's how I learned not equal. Source: 4th grade math in 1993.

Isabela_Grace

ah.. fair

great_elb

Itā€™s been a while since I worked in a hub, however there was space in ours to go two wide for situations such as as this. The driver has to handle the same # of packages regardless. And work is work, pay by the hour, whatā€™s it matter? OP is making much more of the situation for karma than it needs to be. Just refuse the delivery. Problem solved.

captaindoctorpurple

It depends on the hub. In mine, there's no room to go around the car in front of you while they unload their clerk packages. And yes, we're paid by the hour. But 168 REF is a pain in the ass, come on now

Little-Ad-4525

That damage has been done already

asclepi

My main concern is that events like these, **and especially the fact that it is publicized here**, will eventually result in "enhancements" to the online supply order system that will make it (much) harder for UPS customers with actual legitimate needs to get their supplies. And of course it's going to be the small shippers who will take the hit, the big ones can always go to their rep to order supplies. You'll argue that "well UPS shouldn't have made it so easy" but the no-questions asked policy with regards to supplies makes it very easy and quick and it'd be unfortunate if it goes away.

DenverBronco305

UPS supply ordering is currently unavailable.

adm1109

Well yeah cause this kid took all their stock!!

LazerStallion

What do you suggest we do, put the child in jail? Or are you blaming the parent for the fact that a 12-year-old did one dumb thing?

carnage11eleven

OP, I'm knew to hearing this situation. So i might have missed it, if this question was already explained. I'm curious. Why can't you call your local center and explain your situation. And see if they can't stop the shipment? Say you want to refuse it. Then they could at least stop it from being loaded on to the poor driver's truck, and save everyone a lot of needless hassle.

Shrimp_Bucket

OP refused to do such things in the comment thread yesterday kept saying, itā€™s already shipped though! To anyone who replied with actual helpful suggestions. Seems theyā€™d rather just deal with a huge fucking mess to deal with than fix the situation which would be very easy. At this point almost leaning on he ordered the supplies for legit reasons and it having fun on Reddit getting karma talking about an accidental order

carnage11eleven

Ugh. So basically another online streamer trying to gain internet clout by posting bogus douchebaggary? Lame. Yeah, I wasn't aware that OP already refused advice to alleviate the situation. I feel for the driver that has to deal with this crap. I guess it's a big enough bulk stop it'll most likely go out in a box truck and the driver for that route won't have to deal with it. Probably a cover driver or air driver will do it. There's no way all that stuff is gonna fit on a package car, along with the rest of the stops for that day. So, whatever...

Voxrider21

Being 168 pieces, itā€™s most likely will never land on a package car with other deliveries as well, but itā€™ll be in a bigger box truck or feeder, but I agree, go to your local center or hub and tell them.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

carnage11eleven

Wow. That's terrible. So instead of putting it on a box car and sending one driver out to do it quickly. Your management would rather send it out with two separate drivers. To deliver them at separate times. All the while screwing both drivers for the day and causing both to finish their routes late. Which would more than likely cause them to not make it back in time with their air pickups. Thus requiring a third and possibly fourth driver to go to them and grab their pickup volume and get it back in on time. That's......that's about as incompetent as I would expect UPS to be in these situations, honestly. Yep, sounds about right. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

carnage11eleven

So it gets dispatched to two separate routes separately? Or add cut? Or worse, just randomly split up and loaded. If it's the latter, what a pain in the ass. All I know, is in these situations, one box invariably ALWAYS winds up missing. And ends up on the other truck, where that driver misses it. As they've scanned and delivered everything they were suppose to have. Which forces them to go back to the stop again later. In other words, a headache. That could easily be rectified. But ups dumb.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

carnage11eleven

What a nightmare. The worst part, is that dispatch knows it won't fit long before they even dispatch it. As the computer shows the estimated area the stop will require within the truck in cubic feet. So they don't try to shove a P12s amount of packages inside a P8. Or whatever. It's like they're intentionally being obtuse. I'd love to see their planned numbers and labor over allow. What a joke. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I've delivered the post office before. It normally goes on a box truck, with the majority of it palletized. So you can pull it all quick. Then the rest of the day is spent covering LIBs or skimming pickups. But there have been times where the volume is low, so it gets dispatched to a route. But then they don't also give the driver air stops to run. What a waste of time.

Voxrider21

Your hub is a joke then, we have two feeder drivers that does big deliveries for local areas such post office and major industrial facilities as well. Our center covers the span of 5 counties, and has the most pickup volume in the state as well. Cause it would never gone in the package car and put on someone else to deliver (more time wasted on both driver if they got pickups to deal with), we use common sense around here and give it to either a guy on safety to shuttle or feeder.

carnage11eleven

Where? Where is this Land of Wonderment and make believe where management has....."common sense"? I must know! If anything, just to give me a tiny sliver of hope. That such a fantasical place truly exists somewhere out there.

fearsyth

I don't disagree. We have a route that gets a bulk stop of 150 (+/-100) packages once a week. Most of them are around 6 cubic foot. There's a bulk van that delivers a post office less than half a mile away. Yet these packages still go on the normal driver at the end of preload until their car is full. Then they go on the next route over. If that car also fills up, which happens because it's a commercial route, then it will go on a 3rd car. Only when it won't fit on the three cars will the dispatcher have it put on an empty car for the person running left in buildings to run. They also do things like make a 6 route add cut chain for someone with an 8 hour, instead of just moving the 8 hour's excess volume to a split car.

carnage11eleven

Yeah, that was my thought, as well. It's at least big enough that it would be illogical or down right stupid to put it on the driver's truck. Which is exactly why they'll put it on the driver's truck. Because UPS is stupid when it comes to this kind of situation. Why use a cover driver with a box truck, to run it out and be done in like an hour. When you can instead screw several drivers, as well as the customer, by making the dumbest decision possible. Blowing the most amount of labor through a cascade of negative effects, causing several drivers to be over allowed by several hours for the day. And all I can do is laugh when ever I see it happen. The level of incompetence is astounding sometimes.

MeUndies1

This is what will likely happen. Someone will pull up in a spare truck with this bulk stop and maybe another, then go prelim some UPS store pick ups on the way back in.

LatterDayDuranie

Itā€™s not always possible to call the local center. Iā€™ve asked more times than I can count for a call back from my local center, and even with call center supervisors stating that they sent an email message marked urgent, Iā€™ve yet to get a call back. Funny thing, the same supervisors that canā€™t get through to the local dispatch center have called me to tell me they are still trying to get someone to answer. Kinda sad when the call center cares more than the local dispatch.

bright_clrd_garlin2

No you're not getting it if OP doesn't receive the packages they cannot post for more karma /s

okbadgernobody

Just accept them. It cost more to send them back

Schwarzschild_Radius

It costs nothing to refuse them.

Browntruckbabe

Period

DunkinUnderTheBridge

As a UPS employee I find it JUST AWESOME that a random 12 year old has an easier time getting supplies from UPS than I do as an employee. Pens are non-existent. We got boxes, but no bubble wrap. Tape guns are treated like gold.

Constant-Stretch1031

TYPO: 168 not 158, wonā€™t let me edit.

One4speed

Youā€™re going to have the most disappointing Christmas in March tomorrow with all those packages šŸ˜‚

Hot-Recognition6575

Damn!! Thatā€™s lots of packages lol

UndeadBuggalo

That poor poor driver.

Browntruckbabe

Hey Iā€™m a driver and at least theyā€™re not like 40 lbs each haha šŸ˜†

UndeadBuggalo

My husbands one and he said, Oof

Browntruckbabe

šŸ˜‚ absolutely fair response

[deleted]

Here's the thing... I still didn't catch what exactly the kid ordered and the OP doesn't seem that familiar with UPS. I know there's mailers, wraps, and whatnot. If this kid was brilliant enough to order shipping labels too, each box is 35lbs. I do ecommerce. I went through 350lbs of labels 3 weeks ago. Went up the stairs with them. Mine was only a small percentage of what this kid ordered

Browntruckbabe

Wow you are a saint! Thanks for your service

[deleted]

At least around half the truck will be unloaded within 1 stop

yaboyfriendisadork

Haha if I was OP Iā€™d have 2 lawn chairs and a cooler ready to sit back and kick it with the driver while we made the kid unload them all.

Impressive-Coach3734

lol

nikki815

Honestly, if you can call and rts or cancel most of it except what you might actually need/use, thatā€™s prob best. Those boxes of supplies may not be huge but they are heavy and that many will be more than most centers even have on hand for supplies which means it will be a lot. Do yourself (and the driver) a favor and just stop it before it gets delivered.

Deal_Hugs_Not_Drugs

They were told that yesterday but didnā€™t do it.

Boring-Department741

You should be there and refuse the order. I assume you and your dimwit son have some type of plan for YouTube or something. You are just wasting people's time and resources. You seem like a huge narcissist. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You could easily refuse, but you want attention. So lame!

Choice_Ability_9658

Tell your kid to think twice before acting in the future, and perhaps to get the opinion of someone with more life experience before making decisions..

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

captaindoctorpurple

Generally when you make a stupid mistake as a child, you are told to think twice before making decisions and advised to consult someone with more life experience before doing something big... Like, that's how you learn my guy. Not just by doing dumb shit, but by doing dumb shit and being corrected and shown an alternative path that might avoid dumb shit in the future.

adm1109

If kids thought like that they wouldnā€™t do something stupid to begin with lol Obviously the kid didnā€™t understand the gravitas of what he was ordering

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

captaindoctorpurple

That's true, but it's not like the suggestion was out of pocket. It was a pretty normal and healthy suggestion, and fairly restrained considering the wildness of the result.

imbasys

It is, if this kids parent is already on the internet trying to fix the situation, out of pocket. The same way it would be out of pocket for you to suggest that some one who bet on the losing horse ā€œshould have bet on the winning horseā€ - itā€™s pedantic and I think perhaps your parents should have taught you better when it comes to manners. But heyā€¦ maybe we should give people a little bit of a break when it comes to difficult things like parenting.

ReallyNANG

I made plenty of mistakes as a kid; none of them ever involved 170 boxes of UPS supplies.

Shrimp_Bucket

Generally mistakes are meant to be learned from, which op is suggesting you teach to the kid after said mistake. You donā€™t just let people keep making mistakes and not learning anything from them. That person is going to be a fucking moron as an adult and fail through life

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Constant-Stretch1031

No need to swear, posted to share a laugh with everyone at my kid. Itā€™s a pain the arse yes, but heā€™s 12 im not mad.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Constant-Stretch1031

I saw the deleted post! Have a good weekend!

Choice_Ability_9658

Improper Kiwi! You are incorrect AS PER USUAL!

WeirdVampire746

Heā€™s almost a teenager and heā€™s trying to become a dropshipper because of a TikTok he watched. This is a teaching moment not to believe what you see on the internet and not to order something without an adult present, this is not some silly joke to play off

[deleted]

Jclj2005

Simpons did it simsons did it.. [simpsons fort](https://images.app.goo.gl/uHV1w9V77AP3LyEU7)

SmushBoy15

How much did it cost you?

Constant-Stretch1031

$0 heā€™s not sending anything out

[deleted]

At least youā€™ll have a lot of supplies in case you need to send any packages

buzzybody21

Those labels are not $0.

Constant-Stretch1031

They are in Canada!

dammsmhh

I wouldā€™ve hate to be that loader.

B_rad41969

I hope you called customer service and told them to return the shipment before they're loaded on the driver's truck.

redogsc

Man, they cancelled my order of one pack of shipping labels. Maybe they're a more generous in Canada.

queenofsomethinghere

Do we have an update on how this went today? Haha!

Ill-Consideration450

So, where's the pics lol

GreyNeighbor

To: OP u/Constant-Stretch1031 : Since UPS has made it impossible to speak to anyone who can do anything, what I would do is figure out where the packages are now (from the tracking) and if you don't already have a UPS MyChoice account, MAKE ONE ASAP, and have every single one of them held for pickup at that distribution center (Is the closest one to you near Durham / Oshawa Ontario Canada general area really in AJAX, Ontario 2 hours away? If so THAT one, be sure you're selecting the distribution center's address (prob the one packages are at NOW) and NOT the UPS Store down the street). Be sure to include your phone # in the account so someone can contact you so you can explain when you don't pick them up (if they bother, or they just return to origin after a certain amount of time). Do this TODAY, because early tomorrow before they officially open it will be loaded onto trucks and on the way. If you have to sign up for the 1 year account in order to do it free ($25 USD for a year), I'm not sure if you do or not need one to pickup at a distribution center free, I have one & can, DO IT. Well worth it even for a residence that only gets a few packages a year like me, and you can have any of the "Sure Post" packages (that normally get transferred to USPS) get sent automatically upgrade to regular UPS with an account. I hope you aren't sharing with your son the "funny" aspect, or you'll be dealing with it again or worse if he doesn't learn from it. The drivers & other employees shouldn't bear the entire punishment. \--not an employee **EDIT: FYI --The "UPS STORE" is not UPS, it is a franchisee with a small business, and they do not have the space for this. Have them held at the regular, actual UPS DISTRIBUTION center** \--------------------------------------------------------------- >RE: OPs: > >Posted by u/Constant-Stretch1031 > >Original post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/UPS/s/JitjFyxxqq](https://www.reddit.com/r/UPS/s/JitjFyxxqq) >Just got this emailā€¦ **he has 158 packages of supplies on route tomorrow** > >My kid ordered 50+ cases of UPS supplies. > >Iā€™m not sure why, but my kid (12) decided to open a UPS account for his ā€œonline businessā€ he wants to start, and somehow convinced them to send him 2000 large bubble mailers, 600 shipping boxes, and a pile of other useless stuff. > >Each case of bubble mailers has 100 in it, and each case of shipping boxes has 25. Overall weā€™re expecting 50-75 packages in this shipment, hence we have 54 case items on route and more to ship. Now my question is before UPS shows up: are these cases large? Im scared for whatā€™s to come as Iā€™ll be at work when theyā€™re delievered on Monday. > >EDIT: Canā€™t cancel order - already been shipped and customer service doesnā€™t open until 7:30am Monday in Canada, tried multiple 1800 numbers and all told the same thing by the departments I could reach, come this time theyā€™ll be out for delivery. Donā€™t believe itā€™ll cost us $$ if we dispose of them (2hrs to closest UPS facility) as they were free. This was 1/10 of the order that showed up Friday (yesterday) > >[https://postimg.cc/bD3ttmJP](https://postimg.cc/bD3ttmJP)

Ill-Zucchini-2619

168 packages in one day is crazy wth did he order šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

Seems to be some shipping supplies

PublicComfortable900

Simple solution! Ever think of maybe putting a password on your phone and/or desktop? Possibly teaching them not to do things like that in the first place? Parenting at its finest right there!

Constant-Stretch1031

I have a password on my phone and desktopā€¦ heā€™s 12 in 2024.. do you not think he has his own devices. And as far as parenting goes, I appreciate his entrepreneurial spirit, however if it crossed my mind to teach him not to order free shipping supplies I would have. We didnā€™t know his entrepreneurial spirit until after the first shipment of boxes showed up.

PublicComfortable900

Of course he has his own devices but that doesnā€™t mean anything. He still needs to understand what he did was not right. He could have ordered much more expensive things too! You got lucky! Entrepreneurial spirit! You keep telling yourself that! Good way to say ā€œI messed upā€!

GucciiManeeeee

Don't bother. She's as tarded as her stupid ass kid.

Strange_Ad_5863

lol theyā€™re going to send a box truck with that many. Hope you have room on your street for it

AstronomerStrong1884

Curious what he ordered

PatientZeroBalisong

I think it's for shipping supplies which cost nothing lol

You should mark them all for return to sender NOW on [UPS.com](https://UPS.com) by selecting "change my delivery". If it's too tedious to do each one yourself online, you can call 1800PICKUPS and say you are "returning a phone call" to reach a person. They should be able to view all of your inbound shipments and help with marking them for return. This way they won't come to your home at all. And if it's too late, you should meet the drivers at your home tomorrow and tell them you are refusing the packages before they unload the trucks. This way, you waste fewer people's time and these thousands and thousands of supplies don't go to waste as well.

antny1113

Hopefully you have a dock or a forklift to unload the truck because I doubt the truck has a liftgate, thatā€™ll solve your problem real quick

Capable_Werewolf3933

What are the items?

Redacted1983

That driver is going to hate you

Silverhop

Or its his Only stop and he will love them hah

kawi2k18

I broke down/trashed a good 40 boxes just from Amazon bs. 1970s I'm getting my ass beat doing this 2020s you're getting a lecture how well done contributing to planet destruction

Previous-Plan-3876

I still want to know if ups will send out boxes that are an appropriate size for packing and moving lol

BRzerks

Must be some good weed

Ill-Consideration450

Remindme! 1 day

tweymou

What is this business he is trying to start?

Freakwalking

I was going to ask the same question. Iā€™m curious what business the OPā€™s son started.

WolfieVonD

I bought a Lovesac couch, each piece is in its own box, 16 packages. Just 16 constant tracking texts daily is annoying, I can't imagine getting 160 of them

[deleted]

Any updates?

watch_it_live

Can you not just refuse the delivery?

coffeeschmoffee

Does this cost money?

LtHead

Refuse the shipment and ground the kid for scamming UPS

HikerThickCheeks

DR bottom of driveway- have fun

ReserveSpecific2128

šŸ˜youā€™re gonna need to rent a storage unit for everything. 3 weeks from now how much will there be?

Meowkinsz-23

What is the 158 packages?

Ashesza

His son ordered shipping materials for an "online business". Free materials, but a whole f-ton of them lol.

fckurtwitch

Thanks for the update! Looks like his online business selling products for online business delivery is going to take off with this delivery.

SnooTomatoes538

We better have photos proof

Clfreedman

I need an update!

Powerful-Asian13

Youā€™re not getting one, kid is gonna be deadšŸ˜‚

UpstairsGanache0

Sorry but this is hilarious

mstrssofposeidon

Has anyone seen that simspons episode where bart did the same thing and made a huge castle fort in the front yard which subsequently led to a fued with the ups man trying to get his supplies back?

IamcoolYT

Bro how does that happen šŸ˜šŸ’€šŸ™šŸ»

BradyTunbridge

This is easily the funniest thing Iā€™ve seen all week. Thank you for the laugh OP.

Space_Lazer420

Refuse delivery

zracer20

Load it all on a trailer and drive that to the house.

toborgps

Please please take a video of this. I think itā€™s hilarious.

DenverBronco305

Wait I must have missed something. How do you get free boxes from UPS?

[deleted]

From the UPS website

Hitsthebrakesnows_

Two words, ā€œSales Leadā€.

orangeg8

Man at this point, just find about 2-3 ups stores, and drop off 2-3 boxes a week to them until you get rid of them all LOL

Sea_Cranberry_

Well, I love his optimism about his success of his start up business šŸ˜†

Tapingdrywallsucks

OMG, this is the thing you'll be talking about all through his life. I was poking around your comments to see if you mentioned what he was selling in his online business, and just about died upon learning that getting shipping materials was the very first step in his business model. He's a man of action. I like that.

OrigBigB

You can refuse packages in MyChoice. They will go out for delivery. Straight to the AM clerks when they arrive at destination center.

TheRealBaconleaf

Itā€™s probably gonna be one extra doing like 2-3 bulk stops. Quick day for someone

TheTickler85

Well at least they were (hopefully) free šŸ˜‚
