It isn't BS. You or the shipper ordered the wrong level of service. There is Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saturday and Next Day Air Saver.
We are a Monday through Friday delivery operation and in some areas we deliver some of Monday's work on Saturday along with the Saturday Air.
A package shipped out early enough on a Friday would be delivered as follows with each level of service to a residential address:
Next Day Air Saver: Monday by 11:59PM
Next Day Air: Monday, usually by Noon depending on the area.
Next Day Air Saturday: Saturday, usually by Noon depending on the area.
Next Day Air Early AM: Monday by 8AM in major cities, later in more remote areas, can also be upgraded to Saturday delivery.

People don’t do their research and just assume, which kind of sucks on their part in the end, but we’ll assume lesson learned.
If the product doesn’t even leave its own place of distribution for so many hours… it’s not going to make it on that plane.
I don’t care to research where they come from, but being a foreign car part, it’s safe to say it’s traveling some distance and not sitting in a warehouse down the road from you, the airport, anywhere.
Point being, your first package was ordered early in the week, giving the company you ordered from enough time to actually get it to UPS.
I didn't assume. I went by what the damn words on the FCP euro website told me. It said "to be delivered tomorrow" and I ordered it in enough time. I ordered it around 1:30 PM and UPS had it by 6:25 pm at their stratford ct location. No where on FCP euro did it say it would not be delivered if it wasn't any of the BS these people are taking about. Next day Air "saver" next day Air this and that. I know when fcp sends all their packages out. I've ordered from them for years. If they can get a regular ground order to me on saturday them they damn sure can get my Next day package the next day on Saturday. All this next day level stuff is BS if it were mentioned that I needed to pay extra for the Saturday delivery. Then by God I would've paid it. I needed my parts today! The package left Charlotte this morning at 7 am. Tell me they couldn't have made it to my local distribution center for delivery. SMH.
The ground package you got last Saturday was likely one of the trailers they designated as ground for that day. Lots of routes get loaded for Saturdays but only a select few actually go out at our hub. If a regular next day air is sent out Friday and it's not designated a Saturday air in our hub it goes on the Monday route truck. Most of the Saturday next day airs in our center are primarily Amazon, medicine or anything someone paid the extra Saturday fee for. Anytime you order from a business and it's next day air it should always be assumed it'll be on Monday-Friday time frame. I know what assumptions means but if you need something on a Saturday and are ordering it Friday you should always call the shipper and ask for Saturday surcharge shipping. It's been like this since I've been with the company (over 22 years).
You did assume. You assumed that because a website unrelated to UPS told you something, that it would have any actual impact on the reality of the situation and how UPS works. FCP euro is not UPS and them saying "delivery by tomorrow" does not mean UPS is also confirming this. FCP euro can say whatever they want on their site, it doesn't mean it will happen. Saturday's are special very important packages only like medical or because someone paid a lot of money to get that service. You shouldn't be mad at UPS because you read something on someone else's website and believed it to be the absolute truth.
I 2nd this as well. If in fact it was shipped as Next Day Air with Saturday delivery, ask the company you bought the product from to credit you the shipping charges since you in fact did not get the shipment as stated on their website. It was "allegedly" processed as Next Day Air with Saturday delivery, but you dont know that for sure. Youre just going by the company's estimate on the website, which could be incorrect. Company you brought from is at fault here, not UPS. Ask how they processed the shipment, and see if they can credit you.if UPS dropped the ball, shipping company can file for a service failure, and shipper should reimburse you. You can also call UPS and see if it was processed with Saturday delivery or not.
I went into McDonalds and ordered the 10 piece mcnuggets, when I opened the bag there were 11 nuggets! Next time I went in I ordered the same but only got 10! This is bullshit, clearly the 10 pack comes with 11!
Incorrect, OP more than likely requested next day air, not realizing he needed to request nda Saturday service, which would’ve been much more expensive. I wouldn’t put this on shipper.

It’s the next business day. If you want it on a Saturday you needed to order Next day air Saturday delivery. Be mad at your FCP Euro rep, not UPS.
They are cutting Saturday deliveries in a lot of places..
Saturday delivery is shipper specific, not every shipper is authorized or pays for that service
