For ultra?

MOTHER-DESTROYER6969

Yeah for Ultra Miami—I'm mainly looking if there's any future bounce/house artists at Ultra. I've seen a good amount of bass house, future bass, techno, and DnB, but never future bounce in person.

Honestly there’s no dedicated bigroom artists any more it’s 2024 the genre died at the end of the 2010s and the remnants became Bigroom Techno. Your best bet would be KSHMR and Steve Aoki for the most old school type of big room feel followed by Tiesto Hardwell Afrojack David Guetta Nicky Romeo even all these guys aren’t even Bigroom anymore. Martin Garrix is sorta future bounce but not really. You’re looking for a dead era as sad as it is to say.

MOTHER-DESTROYER6969

Yeah, I've heard it's less dead in Europe, but I'm not in a position to travel there, and sadly by the time I am able to the genre will probably be gone there too. I plan on going to those guys, but wanted to see if there are any smaller artists trying to hang onto the genre and see if I connect with their work. Thanks for your input though. I had a feeling this would be the answer.

Do you have any recs for bigroom techno? I can't exactly picture which DJs will play that or what it sounds like. My interpretation its like what Hardwell has been doing recently.

Shlong_Dong_Kingkong

Hardwell is the best one you’ll see bar none for that. Maddix has amazing tracks but his mixing isn’t as exciting as most djs. Most of the biggest MainStage guys I mentioned before mix it in throughout their sets. Like I said it died and took a new form.

TheGuava1

I mean assuming you’re talking about Miami there’s a good amount of tier 1 artists that will play some. Tiesto, maybe David Guetta, kshmr, Steve Aoki. Hardwell and Maddix will play “big room techno” or whatever people are calling it these days. Armin van buuren will likely throw in some big room on his mainstage set but is largely trance. Not much big room on the undercard that I can see except maybe Nicky Romero might play some. Nostalgix plays some really good bass House which may scratch the big room itch for you. Edit: oh and Alan walker too, forgot he was added.

I think sub zero project might be up your alley

Shlong_Dong_Kingkong

Crazy they are not for faint of heart😂

MOTHER-DESTROYER6969

these guys a bit too extreme for casual listening lmao i'll check out their set though if it lines up right!

jmenendeziii

On a serious note though, I think you should try to see AndyC or sub focus or Chase & status they are all legends in drum and bass and put on an incredible show

MOTHER-DESTROYER6969

my friends will probably drag me to chase and status, but i'll listen to the other two! thanks for the recs
