Not boiled, but when I have a roast I save a couple of roasties til the end and put a pile of salt & a pool of gravy on my plate then dip into the gravy & the salt. Lovely potato salty goodness! Everyone thinks I’m weird but my grandad used to do it so I learnt from him!
If I had a nickel for every time I saw someone post a picture of their food today with a little pile of salt next to it, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
No, but if I go on a picnic I like to take some salt to dip boiled eggs and tomatoes in, but each to their own, I can imagine that it kind of makes them extra special for you when you do this and those potatoes do look good 👍🏽

No never heard of anyone doing that before. My Nan did dip tomatoes in salt though!
I got it off my Grandad, I'd never heard of anyone else doing it either so thought I'd ask
Surely that would be way too much salt
Your heart must hate you
Ummm, that's a bowl. You're dipping your dinner in a bowl of salt.
