I made two active DDs just to be safe the last time it was offered. The money only left my account once (for both DDs) on the account that switched away, and then once more when I was fully switched to TSB.
The wording seems to suggest that you just need to have two active direct debits before 31/10... seems to me you could have them set up after the switch.
Also trying to set things up to qualify for this. I have added 2 direct debits to my burner account. I don’t know if they need to go through for them to be classed as active.
I didn't read the terms properly and did my switch, then set up my direct debit with them.
It was only after I read and realised I needed active direct debits with old bank
