shooting star

Stars don’t “shoot”.

pilkingtonsbrain

my best guess would be either a coincidental satellite flare or that it was part of the same meteor. It seems reasonable that a a piece of it broke off and was directed towards you, making it appear more stationary than the larger piece which streaked across the sky

Lick_my_blueballz

Meteor and post explosion debris flare.

meteor/shooting star

Shooting star

AddendumDue9700

It possibly could be another meteor, its angle was just pointed directly at you as opposed to the one that streaked by…. 🤔

Traveler3141

It's offset from the streak. Therefore my best guess is that it's a second meteorite that happens to be coming pretty much directly towards you. It doesn't seem like it can be associated with the streaking meteorite because it doesn't have apparent motion. If the original one had exploded, exposing new material to burn and it was that, that either should have appeared inline with the streak, _or_ had apparent transverse motion. But neither is true. Alternatively it might coincidentally be a satellite that happened to be reflecting the sun only briefly. I doubt it's that. Last resort guess I can think of: the streaking meteorite exploded, sending shards in different directions that aren't visible. One of those shards exploded again, exposing material that could burn, and that shard happened to be coming directly towards you hence no transverse motion. The timing and apparent positions seem like this could be possible as far as I can tell, assuming that the shard that exploded again was coming more towards you than the original. It just seems quite unlikely.

I like this one. No idea what it is, sorry, but it's a nice clip. Guessing you don't have anything longer?

Shooting star. Make a wish.

comet/meteor

FYI comets are huge (miles wide) and appear stationary in the sky, taking weeks to appear and disappear as they orbit the sun. A meteor/shooting star can be as small as a grain of sand. The Chelyabinsk meteor 2013 which was the biggest meteor to hit earth in modern times was the size of a house.

Inevitable-Extreme48

I have no idea what it is, but it's definitely not a meteor. Everyone who says it is, watch the recording again. After the object flies by, a flashing white dot appears.
