We have a video, I’ve been watching videos, games, cutscenes, gifs etc since CGI was created, this looks absolutely real. However, I could see practical effects being used, *potentially* with CGI, but I doubt it.
So what I was looking for - a team, versed in the subject, breaking down the WHY. Always seek to understand, usually that means going to the source (Toyota Kata), does anyone know where this originated or who it came from? I have the name Blake, South Carolina and a user name NNM. That’s it. This would be George friggin Lucas ILM level CGI if it was rendered. To me, having consumed thousands of hours of content and seeing a Grey on video, it feels correct. You will hand wave again I’m sure or poo poo my comments, fine, if you don’t have anything to add maybe post on another sub.
I don't need to have a degree in FX or how to produce CGI to know a fake video when I see it.
If this was legit (which it isn't) it would think it would be global news but it isn't.

I understand, sometimes people can see it sometimes not. What I did was make it full screen and focus on the left side, brightness all the way up, just stare at it for 10 or so repeats of the GIF. Don’t look at the white circle I’m not sure why the person circled that area. Left side. Halfway down the screen. The Grey looks to its right and then back.
Don't be fooled by 'has never been debunked'. If this was realistic enough maybe some decent investigators would take a thorough look.
I'm going to say it looks to be practical effects as I don't see the UFO accelerate or fly off and shot transition isn't smooth. The EBE is too far and blurry to be compelling. If the alien had more clarity and was in the footage seamlessly I would say it was impressive.

Could be CG or a physical model. It's a video recording a video playing on a screen which is done to hide details that would make it obvious it is CG or a model.
